mark skinner Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Can you add a "bypass all fx" button without adding the entire mix module in the toolbars section , or can the single button be moved to an existing module ?
Terry Kelley Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 (edited) Did you check the shortcut list?t? Edit: Someone pointed out it's "e" on the keyboard. I always click the button in the control panel. Does that do what you want? Edited January 10, 2021 by Terry Kelley 1
scook Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 The keyboard shortcut for bypassing effects was removed in 2020.04. The function "Bypass All Audio Effects" may be bound to any available shortcut in preferences. The old shortcut "E" is available ATM. While there is no way to move buttons from one module to another, "Bypass All Audio Effects" may be bound to a button in the custom module. Collapsing modules in the Control Bar is a way to preserve access to them while leaving maximum space for the other modules. 2
mark skinner Posted January 10, 2021 Author Posted January 10, 2021 "Thank You" for your reply and direction. ms
DeeringAmps Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 @mark skinner bind it to Alt+E or Ctrl+E, otherwise "E" on the keyboard will drive ya nuts. Remember when "O" put you in "Offset" mode, or "A" engaged the audio snap (maybe it still does? I "nuked" long ago...) t you can thank me later ? 2
Terry Kelley Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 If I want to manually enter something and miss hitting enter, those shortcut keys make Cakewalk explode all over itself and I have no idea how much stuff I've trigger just typing the word "Lead".
