kevin H
Fyi...found this description on gearslutz thread from someone that uses real thing..might help someone decide. “It's more of a "sugar" device than a "surgical" device, but I never use it in series with another EQ. It really has a sound when I "open" every band. The 822 is different than the 825. Where the 822 is a "Pultec" type EQ and the 825 is LF Shelf, 3 bands, and a HF Shelf.” Others seemed to agree with that description and seem to mostly use it to boost highs. She's beauty-challenged. I kind of like the idea of "sugar" on top of my mixes. My dentist might not.
kevin H
I’m definitely getting it. I also like the idea of sugar on top.
