My monitoring of Interpol tells me that today is Steve's birthday!  158 years old (though I may have read that incorrectly ? ).

As tradition serves...

Have a good one! ??

(I won't be THAT old until next year! ?)

Pubs are open? Where?
If I have to fly to Worchester to drink in a bar, that would make it the most expensive drink I've ever had.
Happy Birthday, or whatever craigb said.

Aircraft are not allowed to fly over Worcester - the strange metal objects in the sky would only scare and confuse the natives.

Happy Birthday Steve - have a good one - do you really have pubs open in the UK - here in Cape Town we are still on a pretty hard lock down, although they did allow alcohol to be purchased as from yesterday, so at least I can raise a glass to you!!!!!!

No and not for a while yet. But then with the way this is being handled here, who knows? It's politics before people.

Next week we'll probably be told that the pubs were never closed at all, and that we're silly little plebs for believing that they ever were.

So, did I misspell it or did you? ?

@SteveStrummerUK Shhh, don't tell anyone, but I'm 12.5% Worcestershire.

My ancestors were mostly in villages around Worcester and some lived in St John's.

Grazing? ??

That's where I am - on the 'Welsh' side of the river ?

My ancestors were from both sides of the river.

I love the names of some of the villages: Upton Snodsbury, Throckmorton ... I was disappointed not to find ancestors in Wyre Piddle and Flyford Flavell (which is just wonderful to say - how do the locals pronounce it?).
