  1. I waited until today to get the Audiomodern Random Generators set, which is set to expire tonight. So I got Neural Q instead of Playbeat Lite. Thank you to PB for giving me the info to time this purchase.
  2. My favorite ujam Bass. Inspired by the Hofner.
  3. Mine didn't work either. Woohoo! Saved me $14.50.
  4. This is well worth a download. It is a LOT more than a nylon string guitar. It has pad sounds that you can mix with it. You can set up arps or gates for each part. You can get some very interesting effects with a gated pad. Plus... it's a very nice sounding nylon string guitar. It's not a full instrument with articulations or picking--but it's got a lovely tone. Heavyocity has two other Foundations instruments which I previously ignored. Who needs more Staccato Strings or.... gulp... another piano? ? But these two are just like this one. Textural libraries. I'm going to download them. The price is right. And this is a unique and fun library. I bet they are too. And people, it is not difficult to download this as @aidan o driscoll pointed out. You download it with their downloader. Then you install it the way you install ALL instruments made to work in Kontakt/Komplete Kontrol. Easy-peasy.
  5. I don't see anything about the sale on the site. Is this limited to first time purchasers of Spitfire Products? Or first time purchasers of a Spitfire Originals product? Thanks! TTF
  6. What was the price of a single Plugin Collective plugin a week or so ago? This deal reminds me of a very long time ago, when I was at McDonald's with my girlfriend--who is now my wife. And she said, "Look! Two apple pies for a dollar!" While she was devouring these things I asked her how much one apple pie was. 50 cents. She was sick for two days eating those two apple pies.
  7. For the record, Beatmaker RICO is already $29 right now if you own any other Beatmakers.
  8. I just found out that this deal ends on 23:59 UK Time on the 1st of July. I don't know if PB will even announce the July giveaway by then, but I am going to wait for the last minute to get this. Of course, as we all know from following this forum, there will probably be an even better deal on this bundle someday.

  10. If you have Guitar Swell and install the free expansions, make sure you watch the video in advance because the process is a bit involved. The video is essential.
  11. In Session Audio's Guitar Swell is back to its intro price of $99.97 (normally $139.99), plus until today, you get the two new expansions--"Guitars" and "Shimmer and Octave"--for free. If you own Guitar Swell the two new expansions are free. If you didn't get the notification, you can write them at contact@insessionaudio.com I think you have to do it very soon, though. It was supposed to expire a few weeks ago, but Kyle Z said Friday on VI:Control he would still honor it.
  12. I've done quite a bit of research on Playbeat 3, and I wrote something on Larry's post about the full Audiomodern Suite.
  13. This is still available and it's the same as last year's Black Friday price of €99. To my knowledge, this is the lowest price it has ever been offered. The PB Playbeat 3 and Riffer bundle is $89. Otherwise it's Playbeat ($79), Chordjam ($49) and Riffer ($49) Playbeat is actually a few dollars cheaper on the Audiomodern site and the other two are a little cheaper on PB Because of the Playbeat Lite giveaway on PB, I've been watching a ton of videos on Playbeat 3 and I've downloaded the demo. The first thing you notice when you watch the demos is how much it has improved since the original. Truly day and night. The best new feature in Playbeate 3 is a "smart" randomizing algorithm. This means you can pick some beats you like and then Playbeat will make new beats from them. IMO this results in more musically useful results than any other randomizer I've previously encountered. As XO is my favorite drum machine lately--because it's good for using my own samples-- in some ways I think this might be better for me. The randomizing of beats is far superior in Playbeat 3 and the randomizing of samples is better in XO. Maybe there's some way to put that together. But if I had to choose one thing, it would be the mechanism for making the beats. So far there are only four XO expansions and they go for $39, which is still a lot even when they're discounted. Playbeat 3 has six free expansions and, so far, one paid one, which costs $5. It seems likely they will keep releasing free and cheap expansions. Also it allows you to create your own expansions, so there may be some of those floating around eventually. All of these can be easily randomized so that your beats are nothing like the originals. The XO expansions are all kind of planned out with standard variations that you can choose. Of course you can replace the samples in the patterns with your own, but it's still their patterns. If this interests you, then the Playbeat Lite giveaway on Plugin Boutique is something you should give some consideration to.
  14. Without a topline motherboard, you will lose options for NVMe pretty fast. I put two in my motherboard and then put the other two on two $15 PCie cards. And that's it for inside my computer--4 full speed NVMe drives. If I want more, I have to put them outside my computer. Those two $15 cards each had room for another SATA NVMe. They aren't any faster than regular SSDs, but it's a lot easier to install them and they leave drive bays open for later. I bought a card with 4 extra SATA ports. That was a mistake, I should have bought one with 6 or 8. Going to have to replace it. As I mentioned, when you put NVMe's on your motherboard, usually two of the SATA ports on your motherboard stop working.
  15. CLAP has my absolute support. In fact, you could call me an athletic supporter for CLAP.
  16. Besides cost, the problem is having spare x8 and x16 slots. A lot of computers have only one x16 and you need it for the graphics card. The cheap cards with a regular NVme and a SATA one work on x4. Nowadays the number and size of PCie ports is getting more important. You also need a card to give you more SATA ports to make up for the ones you lost plugging NVmes into the motherboard
  17. Seems like fun, but pretty expensive for a loop engine. Even a good one.
  18. How can I be sure it's a real Handpan?
  19. This is a terrific library and this is a good deal. But it's never very expensive.
  20. For the record, if you have Komplete 13, you have Lo-fi GLOW already.
  21. I just want to say that I bought this on Saturday and today, Wednesday, I am still waiting. I have followed up with Jesus at JRR and he says they don't have the license yet. I had time on Saturday to play with this. Now I don't. Maybe this weekend, assuming I have the license by this weekend. I know it's not JRR's fault, but I'll never do this again, when there's a license involved. If I have the possibility of getting a license directly from the developer by spending a few dollars more, then that's what I'm going to do. I'd ask for a refund today, but I don't know if I'd just screw myself because the deal ends today. EDIT: Wrote to Jesus again this morning and got the serial a few hours later.
  22. Yes, I got it wrong. It's 19€ to upgrade from a previous version of full Playbeat, not Playbeat Lite. Thanks for clearing that up. @Niky Serrano
  23. Thanks Larry! Following your Soundiron tip I may go with the Kazoo!
