  1. I also have subscriptions with Slate (even though I actually do own over 90% of they offer in perpetual licenses), Kusk, McDSP & Kilohearts.
  2. I own Softube Vol 5 and the entire PSPAudioware line. Does that make me a bad person to *not* be pissed at Waves?
  3. So have you all made Waves go crash in the loudspekah by saying #wavesgoodbye?
  4. Of course it was installed! just now
  5. What amuses me in all this is the stance that people here are going to deinstall working plugins in protest to the change in business model by Waves. I mean we hear of people on V13 plugs (and earlier) that say they still work.
  6. That is the $64,000.00 question. According to Waves they won't stop working (and they never have in the past even if users were not on WUP). They also say if you are on WUP you will get updates (to V14 only, or so it looks like) until your current WUP period is over. What is unclear (to me) is if they will give me V15 if it comes out before 25, Jan 2025 (when my current WUP is over). Only time will tell. I'm not holding my breath until then though.
  7. Well, I was only down to DeEss to own all of their non-sub plugs. I'll have to wait for the $39 Blitzer and $89 4KB Black Friday sales on these two. ?
  8. I'm on the latest release of CbB (not Early Access). About 16 of the Spark VST2 plugins fail the SCAN. However, all the VST3 plugins pass the SCAN.
  9. FWIW my system was full of older V10, V11, v12 & v13 waveshells. I decided to do a full delete of all Waves. Then did a Cleanup. Both of these tasks were done in Waves Central. Then I did a full install of all V14 plugs (which is everything they offered up until yesterday). Then I opened Studio One and I was amazed at how quick the Waves Shell was in the scan. I was afraid something was wrong, but nope, everything is showing and I did some test loads of plugs and had no problems. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'm off to rescan in all my DAWs.
  10. I always update on opening S1. So I'm all good too.
  11. I'll check that out and report back.
  12. I've seen that after every update. Nothing new here. Move along. ?
  13. Not if you are a perpetual user with WUP (as I am). So I say "Nice" and mean it (until 25 Jam 2025 that is). Said another way, I got the updates.
  14. That is correct for me. IOW installed!
  15. Not if you need to run on a Mac or want to be multi-platform compliant. ?
  16. I have a Reaper license. I use it occasionally. But my go to these days is Studio One.
  17. Where I can possibly be "screwed" is if V15 comes out before my WUP is up as I can see them saying V14 is obsolete for updates/ new products as of V15. Grease me up now Lars?
  18. Ditto (as well I gave the SSL collection). For me as of today, this is not painful in the least. I am WUP'd until 25, Jan 2025 so I have 22 months to decide if I freeze where I am of sub up. Also, for me being sub'd is about the same price I paid annually for WUP. I know, I know, if I stop the sub the plugs won't work.
  19. For grits and shiggles I tried to log in. Getting the "under maintenance" message. See? My WUP is paying off, they're making the site better.
  20. I wonder how many anti-sub users have a Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Hulu etc account? ?
