  1. Yes, I yam a knob(jockey).
  2. ^^ This ^^ Because of my current workflow of building demos for my collaborators I use the Chord Track quite extensively.
  3. Looking good. Now everyone will just copy your format/template LOL!
  4. Yeah, Studio One is not up to CbB's MIDI capabilities. TBF Cakewalk started out as a MIDI sequencer decades before Studio One was even born. I'm less and less a MIDI guys these days. And where I am is using EZKeys, EZDrummer and Superior 3 with minor edits. And then only to give a live drummer or keyboard player a basic idea of where to go. I have EZBass but since that's my main instrument for over 50 years now EZBass is just a thing to have in the locker (just in case).
  5. Studio One is my main DAW with exports into CbB and Reaper because of my collaborators (die hard users ?). Sometimes the reverse: CbB into Studio One if I'm not the driver/producer.
  6. Day late and a few participants dollar short.
  7. Still, they beat the SampleTank 3 dev time.
  8. Done. Now what? Oh yeah, practice to get as good as Satch.
  9. Which in COVD-19 terms is like forever.
  10. All my random days end in 'y' (not 'why', but they should).
  11. The Mac *cough* port was a dismal failure. I doubt seriously that a Linux port is on the horizon in our lifetime*. * I was wrong about SONAR never going to Mac, so take my prediction with a grain of salt.

  15. Maybe he sees his customer base as getting close to or at owning everything and does not expect larger group buys of the past?
  16. Not surprising since they do not (IIRC) rely on Windows audio libraries. It's supposedly a closed eco system wrt to audio.

    UAD Half Year Sale!

I picked up a thunderbolt octo satellite used for $699 (for my Mac) off ebay. And then out of nowhere another guy was offering a brand new never opened Thunderbolt Octo Sattelite for $600 on ebay. He was a DJ and he said a friend gave it to him as a gift but he didn't have the first clue what to do with it. I won the auction but he was having trouble getting his PayPal to work. Claimed he worked endlessly with ebay/PayPal and they could not get it to work either. So he (offline) offered me the product for $500 but by the time we agreed on a COD shipment he even lowered it to $400. I was stoked. The unit arrived and is works as advertised. So all in all I don't mind that I paid Sweetwater *cough* sale price for my USB3 Satellite Octo (added to my two Quad Cards) for the PC. I now have 16 cores on both my PC and my Mac. Yay! As of this half year sale I now own the full Ultimate 8 package plus quite a few more.
