It doesn’t appear possible to use the cross grade price in combination with jampoints unfortunately, which makes this deal less relevant for those with saved points.

    Suxors.

Thanks for letting me be a part of this song and sorry if I were a bit slow in the progress. Love the 7/8 chorus, dynamics and variation, doesn't feel like a 5:36 song. Great work all around!

No, no, no. Thank you for such a great addition to the song.

Don't worry Bapu. I figured that it was your fault all along and I won't take it out on Presonus.

    Hasrh, but fair.

I wasn't interested in their ugly DAW before and nothing about this episode has changed that..

I think it's fair to say that you and your interest in Studio One Pro were the farthest thing from my mind when reaching out to help a friend on the forum. ?

  4. Back in April Bill wanted to get on the Studio One Pro bus.

I had a registered but unused license that I was willing to sell him (cheap), done with a transfer. $125 out the door.

Therein lies the problem. It was an upgrade from Artist 4 to Pro 4.

That seems to have wiped out his legit Sweetwater (non OEM) license of Artist 4. Sadly understandable since my Pro 4 license included my Artist 4 license.

I just purchased an upgrade from any version of Pro to Pro 5 and sent him the serial number (free of charge) in a PM.

Let's hope all is right in the world now.

  5. If the studio needs the files ASAP, no matter what DAW the studio uses just follow John Vere's suggested solution.

Then after that take the time to

    1. Download the desktop BandLab Assistant here => https://www.bandlab.com/products/desktop/assistant (this is used to install and update the desktop DAW program)

    2. Open the BandLab Assistant and click on the Apps tab and Choose Install from the dropdown list (the down arrow next to the "Open" in the lower right corner of the Cakewalk by BandLab App (the bottom box not the top one).

And now start learning the new UI and features that began and has evolved since SONAR X1. There is a lot of new power in CbB (the accepted way of saying Cakewalk by BandLab) as compared to SONAR PE 8.5. But make no mistake, there will be a learning curve.
