I'm due a free update but can't get on Steinbergs site. Says my password is incorrect (the very one I used the last time I logged in). I requested a password reset. They said it may take up to 5 minutes to receive the email with a code to enter. It's been over 3 hours and yes I did check my spam folder.

Not at all, my response to the OP was about ProChannel only. As that video by Secret Sauce (linked above by @Nigel Mackay) shows, one can make really good sounding songs with just the Pro Channel modules.

I find that way I get a lot of open string sound that I have to edit out of the track later. I always hold the neck of the guitar while I hit the record button. Stay Safe Bill.

@Starship Krupa I believe what has been considered proven in the way past is that when all things are equal (pan law etc.) between the then tested DAWs on pure audio (i.e. no use of any FXs) they always null tested out. Now Andrew Scheps' observation (if true) could shape a null test between Ableton and any other DAW (purpoted to not have any inbred processing). I personally believe that Mixbus/MIxbus32C would not null to any of my other DAWs because they advertise that you are by definition getting a Harrison console, which is different for Mixbus vs Mixbus 32C, right in the DAW.

I'll have to ask Kenneth about that.
