When I was ~12 I was playing Get Off My Cloud by The Rolling Stones. It was one of the first songs I learned on guitar. Taught to me by a guy name Mike Kidwell who has a Silvertone amp and some hollow body electric guitar. At that time I was oblivious to brand names but I suspect it was not a top brand.
Our first gig was at a youth detention center. 2 guitars and a drummer. I knew about four of the dozen or songs we played. For the rest I just turned down my guitar volume and essentially strummed away. Been doing that ever since. ?
So I finally believe I understand my mixing environment and now they want me to learn some other W.A.N.K.E.R.'s environment?
And not include it in my WUP'd Mercury?
Pass.
I'm gonna swing by my local shop and see if they has a Jack Casady Epi. The only downside if they do is it's full payment up front and the MF was $17/mo 48 months interest free.
It's not that I need the interest free 48 months but it does help to sort out saving up for a bulk a final payment as opposed to paying down a interest bearing CC.
MF Says:
"I find typically that means that something happened to the package in shipping and it was damaged or lost. I will submit an alert to our shipping claims team who will contact UPS to work that out and issue a refund if needed so that we can get another on order."
Update by UPS as of 3:30PM Tuesday July 27, 2021:
"A claim has been issued to the sender for your package. Please contact the sender for more information."
The article I read refers to pre-built systems. It then suggest that one way around it was to either modify a standard PC after purchase or DIY from the ground up.
The specs they included were "packing a i5 11400F, a GTX 1650 Super, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD"
When the PC police come to my DAWs (both PC and Mac) they will likely put me in prison.
