POSTMODERN ELECTRONIC FUNK is more like it, as this is what they thought modern futuristic music sounded like in 1982. Cool sound though very Break Dance era vibes. Very Kraft Werk, Egyptian Lover, Soul Sonic Force kinda stuff. ?

Where did you hear "at the moment"? I recall that Simon Bangs, the AIR marketing guy, tried to recruit some beta testers over at KVR a few years ago. However, nothing but crickets ever since...
It was on the AIR Music Tech official Facebook page on March 3rd.

Almost all of my Air VSTi instruments are only VST2.. not sure I have a lot of faith in them actually updating to VST3 either..
They were cheap and even free for a few, so not too major if I lose them, but I wouldn't recommend that bundle price until we know for sure if they're going to update and if it will be for free.
Cool thing is Air is actually running a beta team at the moment. (tried to join but was too late) Some new products are in the works as well as updates to the current line up.

Next thing, Amazon purchases Avi, Google purchases steinberg and Microsoft purchases Cakewalk ?????
Funny thing is, Microsoft was actually considering it when Cakewalk was down before Bandlab picked it up. They needed a rival DAW for Garage Band/Logic and already had a good relationship with the developers.

These libraries are super old school. I have some of these on CD from like 20 years ago. You can hear tons of those sounds in the first season of shows like 24 and CSI and movie soundtracks from like 2005. Can't believe they still sell for $40 regular. They've been mined to death. Literally - I think the people that made most of these are dead by now. Should be bundled with Stylus RMX expansions like Metamorphosis, and sold for $19.99.
Yesterday's over mined samples and over used sounds are today's throwback, retro and cool nostalgia libraries. Companies are literally reproducing/cloning 20, 30, 40 year old gear for this same reason. Roland somewhat recently released the D-50 and JV 1080 and Korg their Triton in a vst. Easily 3 of the top 10 most overly used sound libraries in popular music . The same reason many people stopped using them is the same reason those sounds are so sought after today.

Looking at the modules on it, it seems like we could make something like this as an FX Chain rack in Cakewalk with free and/or included FX. (or paid). In fact I think someone did this with the FL Studio FX thingy already.
