Amazing deal at $499 for me. If I wasn't already overloaded with NI Komplete, a pile of IK stuff, The AIR bundle. and a ridiculous amount of free and cheap stuff (most of it from deals found here), I'd probably jump at it.

When they said more surprises were coming after the latest update, I figured some new expansions would be next.

The recent version (V2) of the LABS plugin was missing the popular Micah's Choir library.  It has now returned with the latest update as well a free ambient guitars library.

MinimogueVA updated to version 3.0 with 64 bit vst2 and vst3. New high quality oscillator that sounds much brighter. New updated zero delay filters. New envelope curves modelled after the mini. 12db (SEM) filter has crossfade slider between LP and HP filter like the SEM. Moogfilter has overdrive slider. New filter cutoff slider for delay to emulate bucked brigade delay. Mono and Poly modes. Oversampling...
In VST3 you have to install the presets manually by copying the sounds in this zip to: Documents/VST3 Presets/gunnar ekornaas/MinimogueVA

I think it's because you get the Biotek Arachnid expansion included and without Biotek you need Attracktive to use it.

It is...but I think I found a use case for it. Film, video games and lo-fi or industrial productions. Think more sound effect than instrument

Refresh Native Access after you've added the serial to add library window. It should show up in new section. Download from there or from library available list.

I've come the the conclusion that the name Next represents the next step up, if you're looking to step up from Bandlab's online or mobile DAWs. For some I imagine jumping from the online/mobile stuff to CbB or Sonar would be a huge jump. Next kinda fills the position that Cakewalk Home Studio did from Guitar Studio back in the day.

They got me with this one a year or so ago.

I never fell in love with Ujam products. You get nice sounding results quickly,  but they are limited from a certain point.  

The ones at version 2 do open up a bit more flexibility though. Stuff like  instrument mode and drag and drop midi add some real value for me. Ymmv.
