I usually love Rigid Audio stuff, but I found Aquiver to be a bit disappointing.    I only got it last night, but as I played through the various patches I found most of them rather annoying.  (Their demo seemed to sound much better!)   I'll give it another go this weekend - maybe I'll hear it differently.   Of course, for less than $5 I can't really complain...

I actually like the sound.  It's very good for Film, TV and video game  production (especially tense thrillers or horror) or dark and moody music production.  Not that useful for mainstream / top 40  music production.  Through many of the newer sounds recently added help to fill in that gap quite a bit.

The Quad Comp is a multiband compressor that incorporates up to four optical compressors.  Each one uses filters to create separate, user-definable frequency bands.  This is a powerful tool to achieve full control of your frequency spectrum.  Use the Quad Comp in a wide range of situations: by combining gain reduction with frequency control, it can act like a “dynamic EQ” as the gain reduction applied on each band depends on whether the level for that frequency exceeds the set threshold.

  3. To gain memberships to the Bandlab platform. To lure in more serious musicians and to retain the ones who out grow the limitations of the online and mobile apps. A huge Bandlab user base is the short goal. That in itself has value.  Bandlab is a combination online DAW like Soundation, user content streaming service like Soundcloud and social media platform like twitter.  For this to work you need users and lots of them.

Ok maybe not clumsy. Would be better to be able to search from the ProChannel side.

The work around would be to use the browser then drag and drop the plugins to the FX Chain from there. The Browser menu has been a huge workflow plus for me.  Wish they would add a sub category feature to be able to narrow down your searches even further.
