For what's worth zebra is a beast , but more for sound design while Hive is the equivalent for producer imho ... i would say the same for Diva versus Repro .... i'm buying Hive and Repro as a owner of Diva and Zebra for that exact reason , more direct .... waiting patiently for Zebra 3 , it hink it gonna be either too much or simplier ...

The fender and ampeg pedals fx are those in my templates , one for gtr the other for bass .... superb both

I encourage eveybody here to slow down purchases and gas and focus on masterring what you have , sell what you don t use and buy what will make a real’diff in inspiration and work execution ...

This is simply how i test synths ... cheking presets quality during production (witch is the case here ) and then doing my own ... again i don t know why but results are better than pigments , but to be fair , pigments demo avoid me to spend more than 20 minuts on it and save presets ...super frustrating in fact , this might play .. what really suprised me is that i was expecting cold wavetable sound from hive and it s always analog no matter what i do even when i go full wave tables fm ... Sounds like a zebra made easier to me ....

@Fleer here's another presete for Hive , i used 2 things to treak what i needed : 1) to simultae rotary speaker i modulated filters but with one lfo phased and the other normal witch create this altearnate mouvement 2) The function was used as (in roland) when key off it opens filter ... Energy 2.h2p

They're not all usuable in production per say , but may he goes deep in programing ...specially in the sequencing and mouvements .... to study for sure , this one area i'm not that confortable on the way UHE does it .... IMHO where Hive shines is its Producer oriented aspect , this direct to the sound vibes with ALWAYS great results ....i wasn't paying attentionn to it thinking it's like the Xfer one but it s not knowing uhe and Urs lol @Fleer lol i'm gonna call ya Google F lol you have a video for any of our discussion lol I love this guyz playing , such cool dude , i like also Kukos always fun to watch him , Nutrix the synth guyz , of course Loopop for hw reviews ect ... There's such a quality in this Hive that i don't find in other wavetables stuff ....

Fleer , hit me in case you re sale Hive (if you don't need it) Studiying HS patches is a must , this gent is just a genius ....just discovered how to make a flute with white noise and a dissonant filter ...lol

True , what i'm saying is that when i analysis the strategic path i see more an attept to provide a lot with incitation to buy instead of providing real value , amek stuff is a perfect exemple , instead of updating the first one , relaseing a second one with just some values diff (exactly the same curves as even the old bx digital) i do love the neold approach and some serious stuff here and there in the catalog , but dropping productat 299 to make you buy them at 29 , product that in pretty all cases better alterantive are present (thinking ssl , api , neve ect ..) isn't imho groundbreaking but the opposit .... What i'm saying is that it's more a name dropping name than a real dev job imho .... i do think they lost track , while at start BX stuff were really something and solid tools added to any pro arsenal , and bx gital is still to this dayz a beast .... with features that even modern eq's still don't implements as defaults ...

Watching as i type Venus theory video , he's one of the very few i really like , he knows his stuff , he's always positiv in attitude , no fake and his voice is pleasent to listen to ....and he has talent !! Falcon , Spectar , Pahsplant are beast but i do presets and see where i end up and quality ....and it's all that counts ....and man , some synth are just always sounding great And some other have a narrower road , some are a pain (i love falcon but the operation is juts not on point with production , more with pre production /sounddesign)

Just tried to make a patch in pigment (lush smooth keys and nowhere near , soudnengine , fx i don't know but sounds digital and 2 D with double cpu lol) UHE just sounds like a real synth , my FM keys are just the way i always hear them and the only synths i heard this quality was the Korg and maybe Spectrasonics or Roland / Chromaphone

just made 2 other presets in hive , thise one i was like liking the least lol since it's all modern type presets usally but when you start you see the power , with those 2 rows of filters ....(like pigments) the alternative skin is a must ...

This one really deep , i 'm trying since 2 weeks and still don't master it , but the sound capacities is stunning , FX section is superb as usual with xils ....

i ain't stressing .... just saying here that NI and PA didn't brougth anything really ground breaking since a while .... izotope is more dynamic imho ....

A non event for me .... to put it softly .... And soundwide ? since it has been created i still don't see anything coming from this that is noticeable , in fact didn't seen anything coming from this at all ... I was exited for izotope to be in with NI , i can see those IA treatment doing wonder in machine (cleaning samples , rebalancing those ect ..) I have this feeling that it's brands that had their time and momentum and are fighting the fall with regrouping , i don't know i m surely to pessimistic
