Listening on airpod heavy bass and mid .... NI to shy , everything preserverd but no dbx feel now chekc the kik control on uad versus waves and how waves get mid and boxy while uad is pinned down with the rest of the rythm this is why i used it on kiks , ability to deboom , debox , and give density with a solid phse of the transient , makint it stick out heavy mix and small speakers . so fav is ( in this exemple ) uad waves NI but i recall NI being better than this ...

lol well it was one i bought after getting my cards and i had all natives and ssl ....but man this one , light on cpou / dsp and handle drums like very few , not only .... It has this 3D (hate that term) , understand that enveloppe that make the dynamic ranges still discenrable while being mastered .... It really suprised me to tell the truth ....now i can live without to be honest ...but the 3A and DBX are my "souljas" on tracks and fast duties for cpu hit and efficiency in task .... For exemple , on another thread i stated that i was gasing over the elektron or drumlogue ...problem i hear witgh drumlogue is tha it's rounder , not punchy at all but some drive (i like the moog drive) and some dbx and you haver another drum machine !!!! (i don't own it yet but this was my soludtion to get closer to elektron Syntakt while having samples playback witch the later doesn't have)

It s a beast , don t underestimate it , It has the capacity to introduce punch like very few around ....

Drum addict here also , my conclusion is : putting money aside for an elektron or Roland /korg drum machine .... As for uvi , i use it in Maschine , it's exellent and created mcros to be able to control crucial stuff like pitch and sends ////

Ícan smell a v3 coming lol with grey unplesant interface and more fx all around witch was already a pain in this version ... be sure to clean those to really appreciate the original samples and drum machines caracter

Even 149 imho , this last one ain t that great imho , i much prefer the old one ..... witch made my skip easy ...

Happy for you guyz , i will share some presets for hive and repro if needed ... solid purchses i have one starting patches for hive that mimics UDO 6 hardware with its binaural feel .... Hive is great for that , soundesign fun ... fx are less good than diva and repro Diva is imho still the queen of the show !!

I think i m gonna skeep ot for now , one of the str.ength of sa3 was that it wasnt vulgarous and seted well on the mix , i m scared that this two patches thing will be omnispheresque and will ead to in your face patches fun to play but hard to make work in a mix . The over concern is cpu hit , uvi last releases are loaded with fx anf handles polyphony like crazy bolemia ... curious to olso have a feedback in that aspect .

No it wasn't but it was an offer like V9 + Minfreak at 149 $ and V9 at 129 or some while minfreak was at 69 $ (crossagrade) it was last winter , i even asked support to set me back with the deal (to ùmake videos but didn't mentio,nned it) and nope , answer was : some more deals coming ...yep sure but seems not this one !! are you using last update of workstation ? if so maybe it's a preset made in falcon that used something not present in workstation ...

Same here the gui is an insult, also i don t see any upgrade price , i hade originaly an nfr of 3 bougth the upgrade of v 3 and dont see any upgrade offer .... seems im supposed to buy new versions evrytime ? Lol better not having an nfr to strt with . what i see is that newresets must be based on this dual concept . my advise for anyobdy seriously looking for those vintage sounds : 1) stickwith v3 2) disable scond osc 3) take of all fx original soundsource will then reveal themselves and will show they true caracter printed by the hw ! the dual approch is the second osc enhnced in v 3 , sound matching is exactly what s present in xln audio XO if we have control over that lfo in the mix area , it cn be great but it deosnt seem to be teh case , a more solid way to play with the mix mod ( enveloppe , seq or several lfo type) is imho a must , maybe its there but didnt seen this ....

Lol giving what you alreay have software and hardware wise , no rush at all imho ... For people that need few software but a re looking fir anlaog feel , uhe and xils labs are exellent .. softube also but fx section is non present ... This one is powerfull and the beauty is the routing capscities thks to 2 lanes of filter ( kinda like uhe hive) but with the voices handling that is superb .
