If HIS plugins are tied to HIS interface, then they should stay with the interface to the best of my knowledge.
You lost me lol , basically it's school account , we have hundreds of card , i wann buy a card to preapre courses , but at the same time buy plugin in my account when possible , and for a crazy reason UA doesn't allow you to buy pluygins without a card regsitred lol

Yes...when he transfers the card he has to select "plugins and card" when doing the transfer.
I had to do that when I sold my Apollo. He willnot loose his plugins ?
So i will get all the plugins and be able to use them event if the card is registred in account ?
Then if i buy another card , what's going on then ? (Thks Larry for your input )

Guyz , a small question : if i register a uad card to an account (friends) and he authorise ultimate on it , can i then transfert that card to my account and keep using those ? (missed the deal cause still no card yet , so wanna buy plugins one by one i use by registering my card)
Thks

Woaw how did i missed this launch lol ...been super busy ...this one looks exellent .... i don t think it s redundant with what amplitube and tracks proposes , it s finally what i think should have been done , a way to get those two to interacte quikly ...
It s really a product that answers a typical phase in production that i love .... this pahse when you want to build quick clothes to sounds and let thel printvtheir style in the mix later ...
Congrats !!
@Peter , do younthink we can expect amplitube to integrate this type of rack in the futur and tracks as well ? ( amp stuff in tracks and tracks stuff in amplitube )?

I'm new to the UAD stuff - just got an x6 - it says pick any 10 for $780 - does anyone know if its likely to be less for Black Friday/Cyber Monday?
the only other deal noticeable is 13 for 999 (basically 10+3 free)

the 10 plugins pack is cool but the 10 +3 might be the same offer in fact when checking the "per plugin" price since it's 999 euros for 13 plugins ..

@Zo by far the best result I had the last time I was in need for a De-plosive massage was: zoom in to the waveform, cut just before the offending P, T, CH plosives -> make a short fade in (over the first portion of the sound) -> adjust the fade in to taste, done... Most natural sounding.. RX9 and others destroyed the sound too much for my liking!
It was truly worth the effort!
Yep i know but you know how lazy we are now lol .... shame on me since i edited a lot of that take in soundforge to clean things around i should have done it then ...

The Maschine MK3 is $ 600 and the PC board (with NI's published specs) is about $ 140, totaling around $ 740 in terms of raw hardware cost.
So $ 1400 feels a biiiit pricey. That said, they did port the Maschine software to Linux.
And they brought back the metal finish from Maschine MK2, maybe it helps with heat dissipation. As far as performance goes I actually tried out Maschine on a quad-core atom with 4 GB of ram and windows 10 and it actually ran pretty well, even with 3 or 4 instances of lighter vsts like Monark or Super8.
So the Maschine+ should actually work out alright with its custom linux distro running nothing but Maschine.
Give it some time , studio was 990 euros at start , i bougth it 750 becaus ei knew distributor , and it went down finally ... i think we can expect a price lowering unless covid 20 comes lol ....

Howard Benson Vocals?
Is it much worse than what you'd get from the individual plugins (comp, saturation, EQ, multiplier, width, delay, verb)?
i know that's why overloud gets my attention .

This one seems to have considerably less mojo/vibe/character compared to Howard Benson Vocals; especially considering the current sale price of the latter. To my ears Overloud Voice seems kinda bland. Just my $0.02.
Cpu hit .....

I just need a mkiii with soundcard ....at 400 $ to replace my maschine studio ...
No touch screen on is one ? Meh ...

Surprised , i was like meh anothe vocal processor but this one actually shells the gas ...

Hey, Zo.
Just opened a new project with only Amphub inserted. The CPU hit I'm reading is from the Studio One performance monitor. Hi gain amps or lead channels have a bigger impact on resources but the minimum CPU hit (Fender Bassman) is 9. Maximum is the Soldano at 12, but all of the high gain options are more resource-heavy. Problem is, if you throw the tube screamer in front of any of them, the CPU hit goes to 19-20!! The Fortin pedal adds less overhead but still...
Yep , i do find Howard Benson suite the most usable and reasonable , give it a spin , the thing with high gain is that the upsampling is a must to avoid aliasing and so they do it on purpose ..... the X factor is imho superior

Jokes appart i really love it .... different in a good way

I totally dig the UI and like the responsiveness of the amps, but the deciding factor to NOT bother with this was the 12-15% hit on CPU.
Marc, real cpu ot asio cpu ... it also depends on amps , fenders in howard benson are 2 times less heavy than the vox ac30 from andy james for exemple

Not a deal : question about UAD

Thks so let's say he transferts the HW only , i will lose all plugins in ?
So the only way to keep plugins is to not make a licences and be tied to school account ?
