It's actually pretty big.  Some of those features seem small, but have big implications.

Plus, Cubase already has almost everything anyone can ask for.  There is only so much  more they can add, unless they want to start trying to go into the Live Performance space, which I do not foresee (yet).

Products like Studio One have "big" updates because there is a huge feature disparity between them and products like Cubase Pro.  There is more tot add, therefore they can add more in their upgrades.

If the upgrade isn't big enough for someone, they can simply not take it ?

Betas tend to be feature locked.  There are unlikely to be any Deletions or Additions.  Updates, maybe, but I highly doubt it.  Once a product enters beta, it's all about bug fixing and polishing up the release.

I just want overlapping audio event playback (both) i liteerally stoped using it because of that... the only way i ve found is to create crossagde but with nominal linear value ...( so crossfade that does nothing)

I looked at Wedge Force and considered it. Then I read some reviews that were not too favourable. What do you think of it?

if you need realistic playing , forget about it, but if you need fast access to stuff you gonna spice your tracks with : bingo  ... i tried it versus what i have :

NI / East west goshtwriter guitars , AAS ect .... and kept it  , essentially for funk wah wah stuff ...you can edit the velocity pretty deeply , while it's not multi simpled , this is enought when amped after  ;)  it gonna make the amps do the job;)

the Mute was triky , i wanted to auotmate it and it was a mess until i understood it was mapped to sustain lol if you have a sustain pedal , you will have fun also ...

Notice it insatll the 1.6 gb datas on drive C , i had to make a mklink command to put it where i want , shame ...

But I also want to hear - officially - that this dark magic applies to that same AT4 stuff and not just the new stuff in AT5 MAX:

Industry-standard sound with DSM™ (Dynamic Saturation Modeling) and VRM™ (Volumetric Response Modeling) technologies for Hyper-Realistic emulation of real world gear and the best sounding models

Dynamic Response Modeling provides real amp response and feel — models dynamic relationship and interaction between power amp and speakers, plus physical and harmonic interaction between individual speakers, cabinet and room construction and mics

All i know is that all those made the tapes an industry in sound , but also in cpu hit ...ouch ...

  7. In all my tests the most analog sounding would be Softube / kush (AR 1 , novatron) and some brands here and there (Kanglem , ddmf magic death eyes , arousor ect ..)

Testing heavy the acustica , same feeling i had back then (that said engine seems way more solid) : static , no life ...

They got the first contact with sound spot on (attack disto ect with first transients) but the time is not even bad but non existent , zero grouve or mouvement , i tried diffrent calibration , no way ....i might be a purist or crazy but this is what i feel ..

Can't comment on uad  , but HW would be HW , more than never i'm conisdering it because now we have total recall and full analog (Wes audio , tegeler audio , better maker ect ...)

Pretty sure we spent the equivaklent in plugins to a good buss comp and eq (or something like ssl fusion) my waves mercury alone could have been one thingy

Sure plugins are unbeatble when it comes to tools and utilities (stereo imager , metering , analysis, desseing , multinand ec) but for fundamentals (compression , EQ, saturation) , nope  ... (i tired silver buller , black box , and ssl fusion versus drive i have , the only one that deosn't fails is true iron isnce it keeps the contour even if driving)

so Zo, when will we see video with plugins vs hw battle? ;)

Don't worry we will probably buy all your plugins ?

And you could go to (fairly warning evil word ;) subscription to hw as service ;)

My bandwitch sucks , too bad   I really wanted to make a review on analog acceess , the concept is more than ever on point nowdayz ...

i have my wave account : mercury + studio classics and all abbeyroad exept the last room simulation ... so i know you love waves , gimme a price lol

That wah is sweet (as opposed to the gimmicky shimmerverb). I've activated my trial extension (nice of them to do that for 14 days), and demo-ed this again, thinking I'd buy it. Now I'm not sure I will. It just doesn't add that much to Plini, and there's overlap in tones. But that wah... damn. It's like 75% of its appeal. Might alone be worth the price of admission.

Amp wise ,it's really nothing special , like i told , i really need a very good env fallower and auto wah , i tried every other option including what i have in IK and decided to go for it at 75 euros ...would have prefered 60 euros but let's say i paid 15 to have fun before the mass lol (in my King Zo voice lol)

If you 're into funk stuff or 80 's type of shimmery gutr : bingo .... if not just pass , plini is really exellent

I misspoke...I don't have it.  It was the trial that was under my purchased items...

mmm anyway i yesturday i did a 1 hours shoot out versus my plugin at ANALOG ACCESS

Xlogic comp versus : SSL Duende, Vertigo VSC 3 , IK , Gem ,Townhouse , Sand3 .... it wasn't pretty

Then why not : Manley Vari Mu versus magenta that i found great : no joke ....will test versus mjur , AR 1 ect ....

Then for fun : black box , SSL fusion and silver bullet ..... = i want to sell all my plugins lol ....
