I got the free packs that were offered in the deal Larry posted earlier (I already have the free Zampler) and one of them, Mantra, is very good and has some interesting sounds involving vocal effects within synthesised sounds - the others are pretty bog standard synth patches but not bad. Might be worth trying those before committing to the full paid for package?

Somebody has responded 'Cakewalk also sucks big time, is still bugged out, not withstanding what has been done in the last 2 years or so. It's clunky, still requires a plethora of workarounds for stuff that doesn't work as it should. Up until the latest release the update mechanism would never work correctly, requiring you to uninstal that pathetic BA, reinstall it and hope for the best, and or manually download/install Cakewalk itself, it's pathetic. One could go on and on. Well done on leaving it out.' A bit harsh I feel ( apart from the bit about BA perhaps)

Some of those Mantra Pads are awesome - scared myself sh*tless!

Downloading the extra Zampler packs which I think are the only things I didn't get with the previous beat deal - thanks Larry!

Can you use this to automap multisamples? When working with loops does it have any advantages over Loopcloud' loop player? -
If you want Chord Track then read this, updated with link

Noel was suggesting you start a thread in this sub forum as this where Feature Requests are located. Best to keep them all together ? https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/8-feedback-loop/ -
Be good to hear what people think about it

It's even more crusty than Miroslav Philharmonik ? (which I rather like I must admit)

I was very tempted by the price for the set but listening to the demos there is still a fair degree of unreality / artefacts that put me off (apart from the fact I'm already overwhelmed Total max Studio and all the free VSTi's I have!) Not convinced by the word builder either and the GUI looks dreadful

Have you rescanned your plug in paths?

Thanks that was really useful!

'Don't worry about it.' - try telling my other half that ?

Yeah the sound of those boxes awesome - I'm pretty sure I saw the Savoy - Doucet Band at a festival one time they were across here in the UK when cajun was really popular. I liked dancing to it - could never get the foot moves (two left feet) but was great at the all in wrestling bit with my arms!
-
Seems to have worked ok for me this time

The Tango accordion demo track sounds amazing. Not so convinced by the cajun track - and I've heard (and danced to!) a lot of cajun music (very popular at UK folk festivals in the 90's)
