I also "filter Out" vst2 plugs if there are vst3 equivalents into own folder also, and NOT added to the DAW Vst Path lists -
? How Many Plugins Do You Presently Have Installed on Your Computer?
aidan o driscoll replied to PavlovsCat's topic in Deals
The way around that for me is I install my 64 bit plugs in c:\Audio Data\VSTPlugins64 and my 32 bit plugs in c:\Audio Data\VSTPlugins32. I only add the c:\Audio Data\VSTPlugins64 path to the DAWs VST Path lists -

This one is well worth a look and comes recommended by a few Kbrd pro people I work with. It is not a synth available amongst the many in teh Arturia Collections. It was the Oxford Synthesizer Company OSCar who developed the synth back in the 80s. If you like a ballsy synth, and you like Ultravox, Orbital and Jarre then yes its worth the consideration. Chris Hugget ( RIP ) the designer of the original synth consulted on it. He did most of the Novation synths too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Huggett

Something to noodle around with after getting your FREE Synthmaster In this Synth Secrets, we’re going to use KV331 Audio’s SynthMaster2 to recreate the sound and synths of Polynomial-C by Aphex Twin. https://www.attackmagazine.com/technique/synth-secrets/make-music-like-aphex-twins-polynomial-c-with-synthmaster2/?mc_cid=ee0b39a044&mc_eid=12894cedea

If you login to your account at everyplugin you can get this for $32.72 https://everyplugin.com/sines.html

So to upgrade from KOMPLETE 13 to 14 is €199 which includes Kontakt 7 .. While to upgrade to just Kontakt 7 is €99 .... mmmmmm
-
Well .. there is the free KONTAKT 7 PLAYER at least. I realise some instruments require full
-
I would use it if they had an option to deselect say 32 bit, AAX etc
-
Found out the download issue is my BBAND Provider Vodafone. Fault in the Co. Cork area of Ireland. Hence speeds down from 1000MBPS to 1.6MBPS ... ah yes the dialup days
-
You sort of can via PREFERENCES .. enable silent mode. There you can set the install folders also. BUT not whether you want say AAX or not
-
( Windows 10 on a Core i5, Hybrid Drive, 8GB Ram ) Has anyone ever noticed .. when installing all the instruments through "Arturia Software Center" .. the install process of each of the instruments seems to be a huge hog, cuts out other things running on system at same time? Is this a common thing, others notice same? Download can also be varying speeds now and then like today its really slow relatively ( Im on Gigabit BBand that works fine otherwise ). Most likely as VC 9 has just been released ..

AND Falkemedia dont have any coupon option in basket or checkout
-
Where would one have used that coupon? At the link in the OP ( in german? )
-
Based on the times we are now living in cost of living wise, keep in mind at checkout Arturia have an option to pay over 2, 3, 4 months rather than one large amount. Not much if any interest paid BUT could be a way of buying w/o having to pay all at once

I think anyone with KOMPLETE has an SSL already?

Humble Bundle: Epic Music Producer 2022 Bundle
aidan o driscoll replied to pseudopop's topic in Deals
Indeed and if used properly, creatively they can be great song idea starters .. also chopping, slicing dicing them. Cakewalk MATRIX might be a good thing for noodling with these Speaking of loops - I have had an annual sub for LOOPCLOUD. Its great, but not making the use of it enough. Just cancelled the annual sub due up next month €110. Ill admit as well as less use a big reason is the cost of living rises .. have cut a few things already. Energy prices in Europe are just off the wall so something has to go to unfortunately. Lots of this here this winter inc streaming services cuts, less plugin purchases etc -
I have. i use these vst guitar instuments for an alt way to find ideas and then learn them on my guitars. I have 2 strats, a Peavey impact ( my daily ), a Yamaha cutaway Classical and a tanglewood big body acoustic. Also - partic classical guitar it can be hard to record on puter, as in get the live sound you hear Here is a version of a BLUE NILE track we did a while back. Using the yamaha classical above - solo at about 2.18 on. Was happy with that ( using Cakewalk at time ) http://www.tidalsound.com/mp3/lets go out tonight.mp3 Then more recently used it at the end of a new track we did .. not as happy https://www.colourtide.com End of Getting On track

Im still waiting for some serious love toward the MATRIX from Bandlab TBH. It could be a serious game change feature

Alternatively in the past many of us would have got an earlier version of Mixcraft in a HUMBLE BUNDLE so should allow an upgrade also Mixcraft 9 Recording Studio was included in a bundle called "HUMBLE SOFTWARE BUNDLE: MEGA SOUND DESIGNER LOOP CRATE" in sept 2020. That bundle cost €25 inc Mixcraft 9 Recording Studio + Mixcraft 8 Home Studio The only upgrade from Mixcraft 9 Recording Studio is to Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio for $79 BUT looking at compare its really not worth it. The Mixcraft 9 Recording Studio has pretty much all the core stuff thats in Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio. Pro just has a load of extra own plugins which you probably have covered already with your own plugs https://acoustica.com/mixcraft/compare-chart
