  1. It goes really well with the Flutes of Fire....before you know it, you'll be doing a ceremonial aerophone version of Highway to Hell.
  2. Seeing how you have Road Fever, I ain't even going to say Honey Hush
  3. Actually, this was my first 4 track recorder (before moving on to a computer).
  4. Thanks Fleer for posting this, you've made all my AAS dreams come true. (somehow, that didn't sound right , but thank you )
  5. In case you might be interested, I posted a thread just before I got the Axe I/O here:
  6. I'm by no means qualified to give any advice on the mix, but have always had issues with getting good tones out of amp sims (generally too thin or boomy and lots of EQing needed). Then I got IK's Axe I/O which made a huge difference in getting good solid tones (at the initial gain stage). Now my amp sims sound like they're supposed to. I highly recommend it if you're a guitarist or a bass player....it's the closest thing to a real amp. Hopefully, someone will chime in on the mix.
  7. I have the other two amp packs (Discharged & Hidden Gems) which are really good. Definitely can't go wrong at the $6 price point...purchased.
  8. I'm also not a fan of the trackpad. Then again, you can't teach us old dogs new tricks......or can ewe?
  9. To rhyme without reason.....that is the question?
  10. Don't be silly Ed, of course it wasn't 'spumoni ice cream'.......it was gelato.
  11. Although I haven't used any of the high-end stuff that Jim's talking about, I have to agree with Peter on the Axe I/O. This is a huge improvement from the normal interfaces. The guitar tone is very close to playing through a real amp....not quite, but very close with full sound in the tonal spectrum. Greg, I would definitely check it out at a store (if possible) before buying.....it's very good.
  12. I got a Page 404: Sorry! Page not found. The article you requested has either been moved or removed from the site.
  13. Wishing you many happy returns of the day ZT!! ZT during a live performance!!
  14. Does Scaler work well in Cakewalk/Win10? The features look really good....useful plugin to get?
  15. Very nice Mark! I also got to spend some time in the studio, but did get to watch a lot World Cup Cricket.
  16. Hope all you fathers had a happy fathers day!! My 2 older girls made cinnamon rolls from scratch and brought that with a nice cup of coffee (breakfast in bed). Had a very relaxing day at home.
  17. Thanks Cookie!! This thread will most likely get lost in the CH. You can put it here: https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/35-tutorials/
  18. I don't have Mezcal, but do have the original Metal Zone stomp pedal (from the late 80's although I don't use it anymore). Not sure what to make out of Mezcal with that type of advertising.
  19. HZ-2 Heavy Mezcal Going for $6.66 this week (there's also other plugins at a very discounted rate) This plugin emulates an unpopular pedal sold between 1983 and 1991, guilty of giving a nasty personality to a lot of amazing bands from Sweden in 90's. Many people thought this distortion to be one of the worst ever made, except the old school Swedish death metal bands. It's wild and untamed maxed-out distortion is what gave us the "buzzaw" guitar tone. This plug-in IS Old School Swedish Death Metal! HZ-2 plugin includes the classic knob parameters: Level (volume), Color section (Low and High frequencies) and Dist (Gain). This plugin offers the ability to modify Dist from 0 to 10, instead 0-3 and 8-10 from the original pedal, this way the user has more possibilities to add necessary gain without forgetting the classic configuration (all knobs to 10). Like all of our plugins, this is compatible with Win and Mac in VST2, VST3, AU & AAX. https://www.audio-assault.com/heavymezcal.php

    New EZ Keys MIDI

Papa's got a brand new bag ab?
  21. That's exactly how I learned about Cakewalk. Prior to that, I was using Acid Pro (a very early version) and was just playing with loops (late 80's o early 90's)....then I wanted do take it further and Cakewalk was easy to setup/use.
