We went to JB's show on Sunday and was a good concert. The band was excellent (some hall of famers) and Joe was on point. However, his sound was a bit on the echoing side and not crisp/clean (possibly the venue or sound engineer IDK). They played for about 2 hrs. and we were hoping he'll play much longer...but, no go. Overall, it was somewhat of a let down as we expected a little more playing from him, but still had a good time. A few years back we went to see J. Satriani (different venue) and he was excellent (sound wise/played for 3+ hrs.). Compared to JB's show, Satch was night and day....a show to remember and would definitely go see G3/Satch in a heartbeat. Brian, you might be right in paying $150 only if it's private party . The price for Satch was somewhere around $85 and that was well worth every cent. @craigb there weren't any 'kids' at that show.....the average age was close to 60+. My wife and I just chuckled as when we saw Satch (who is 60+), the average crowd age was 30+....a total contrast.

Stock up on Becan mate and stay safe. Like all GAS, it will pass.

Finally .. a TRUE free DAW ! i'm crying !
Mesh replied to Sébastien Rodel's topic in The Coffee House
Welcome Sebastien!! Absolutely agree, it's a fantastic DAW and also the Becan part. When you get some songs done, post them in the Songs Forum. -
I always wondered how that it works for some and not others? I generally always have Win10 updated and yet BA has never worked (either within Cakewalk or by itself). Not complaining, but me thinks it somewhat defeats the purpose of BA.

I had the H3000 Factory Native plugin and although had a huge amount of presets/features, I couldn't find much use for it and ended up selling it. I agree with Scook that it was 'ok', but wasn't something that 'wow'd' me.....YMMV.

You definitely earned the title of Deal Finder King. $29 is a no brainer!

The price of the 8 products if bought individually: $1212.00 The price of the 8 products when bought as a bundle: $49 Hmmmm….. Larry, do you know if the bundle is one license or are they separate for each product?

Yeah, that Bandlab Assistant is somewhat of a head scratcher and don't know why they don't work on fixing that. I've always had to manually find the update to install. A small 'price' to pay for being free....I can live with that.

$8.88 each....nuff said.

I'm really impressed with the Cake team and all the updates they've put out. I don't think we got this many updates/fixes when we had to pay for it.

Great deal indeed.....Breaktweaker and Stutter Edit are mine all mine!! Thanks!!

Slightly off topic here, but just in case someone might be interested in adding more patches (sysex) to Arturia's DX7 V, there's a whole lot here at soundbytesmag: https://soundbytesmag.net/freebie-of-the-month-a-massive-collection-of-fm-patches/ I just downloaded, but haven't installed yet. Back to your regular scheduled programme.

Oh noooo……………….I was afraid of this

Same here Tim, I also don't have much use for male choirs, but Shevannai is very nice (even though I have no idea what she's singing) and do use it occasionally. Works really well when you layer it with some keys/strings.

JB, did you see the XLN XO sale thread?
-
...all over again.

Not only are they pretty, but they sound fantastic. I'm just digging into V7 collection and amazed at how good they all are. Still, don't know if I'm going to get this FX Collection.....a bit pricey at $199 (which is about what I paid for V7).
-
Same here, but in dollars

Thanks for confirming Tom. I'm thinking the SP2016 is more of what I'm looking for.

Thinking of getting Blakhole, but wanted to know your thoughts on it. I'll be mostly using it for guitar (my goto is Breverb Cake version). Is Blackhole more of a sound design tool?

APD Deal - 73% OFF: Scoring Sounds Bundle by Pulsesetter Sounds
Mesh replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I have Epic Babies (the free version), but really haven't used it. So, thought I'll checkout Pulsor to see what it has to offer. Not sure if it's too early in the morning, but the patches all sound very similar to each other with slight variations/fx's. Maybe I just need more coffee and better ears. -
Yeah, he's a habitual offender
