  1. Not only are they pretty, but they sound fantastic. I'm just digging into V7 collection and amazed at how good they all are. Still, don't know if I'm going to get this FX Collection.....a bit pricey at $199 (which is about what I paid for V7).
  2. Thanks for confirming Tom. I'm thinking the SP2016 is more of what I'm looking for.
  3. Thinking of getting Blakhole, but wanted to know your thoughts on it. I'll be mostly using it for guitar (my goto is Breverb Cake version). Is Blackhole more of a sound design tool?
  4. I have Epic Babies (the free version), but really haven't used it. So, thought I'll checkout Pulsor to see what it has to offer. Not sure if it's too early in the morning, but the patches all sound very similar to each other with slight variations/fx's. Maybe I just need more coffee and better ears.
  5. Mesh

    Honeypot

You're giving him much more credit than he deserves.
  6. Not a country fan, but love this track and MC does a great job on it (as does Dolly ).
  7. I know Softube makes great plugins, but how good are their amp sims? Seems to me that intro price might be a bit high considering what's out there, but will demo it and see.
  8. It really is a very useful and fun/musical plugin. Super easy to get some very creative drum beats which has some very deep editing functions, but it just sounds great without any editing. Just for XO, I ended up getting some 45GB's of drums (Samples from Mars) and they work great. I got XO on a BF special for about $87 and totally happy with it.
  9. Watched the video. How does this select just the vox (to move around) on an already produced/mixed track? (btw, that track is by Celldweller aka Klayton)
  10. Shirley, that's gotta be some sort of a subliminal message
  11. If you like to use drum samples with a lot of variety/capabilities, XLN XO is a fantastic tool and fully featured. I've seen it at KVR for about $120 USD, but check out the fully functional demo at XLN.
  12. I still haven't bought any RIG libraries, but might jump in on one of these just to see how good they are. If it's to my liking, then will have to patiently wait (with Piotr) for a bundle to arrive.
  13. Good morning Gents! Not sure Wibs, there's been some other (unnecessary) silly stuff that also triggers the mods (no, I'm not talking about the FSF), so who knows.
  14. I'm also very interested in this topic Sander and still learning to use VSTi synths. That being said, I ended up getting Arturia's V Collection and extremely happy with their sounds. There's just sooo many synths in this, I get lost in playing (easy to tweak as well). Anyway when you said 70's Prog, I've been playing around with the Mini V and just love it.....really good if you like the Moog sounds. I have most of the synths you mentioned, but Arturia' stuff is fantastic. Looking forward to getting some good tips on sound design...total newbie here.
  15. Fortunately, most of the crowd will be...uhmmm...grown adults. So, not only a broken phone, but also assault and battery?
  16. That pricing did make me think twice, but my wife I don't go to many concerts and I wanted her to see Joe live on stage. Happy Valentine's day?
