You are correct! My X570A has a BIOS setting under "Security" to enable fTPM. After doing so, (and booting into Win 10), I hit WindowsKey-R and ran "tpm.msc" and got the confirmation below.

Agreed. Like all Melda, the UI is ... an acquired taste? But the MIDI engine and MASSIVE sample collection are hard to beat. YouTube videos by Chandler Guitar are the best learning resource.

I had Syntronik and also just bought the Deluxe upgrade, but I only downloaded the file names that were different from the ones in the base version. Hopefully not missing anything, but I just got Syntronik base edition last fall. I forgot about using the manager and just downloaded direct from the web account page. It did pop up to authorize when I loaded up a patch though.

I am weak ?. I was gonna pass on this upgrade, but made the mistake of watching several YT vids on the new stuff. Went the Time+Space route, where the shipping minus discount was equal to my sales tax (which would have been charged by NI direct). I asked T+S for the serial and shipping discount, but no biggie if I end up with another backup drive.

I don't lose the whole plug-in in CW, but the Scaler window is "cut off" in my CW. Same thing in Bitwig. In my case it is related to using high DPI monitor and Windows scaling set above 100% (it works fine at 100%). You might try the following, which fixed MY problem in both CW and Bitwig:

I Agree with @Matthew Sorrels assessment. I've spent way more time with Scaler, but of course ChordJam just released. I am seeing ChordJam as more of a random "happy accident" creative toy. Scaler is a tool for building chord progressions, and increasingly with updates- arps, rhythms, bass lines, etc. A new update is due shortly that will help modulate keychanges by suggesting intermediate chords. Since you have Scaler 1, the upgrade is "even more of the same" and worth it, IMHO. FWIW I like the built in rompler in Scaler. I find it handy to use, especially in DAWS with crummy routing, like FLStudio.

It didn't take me long with the demo to sell me, even though I have Scaler and many others. The YT videos stayed with rather short phrases, but if you drop the sequencer step length to say 1/4 notes, you get an 8 bar phrase (@ 32 steps), etc. Drop tempo and fiddle with the randomization features to get some nice ambient stuff out of the right synths. The Euro/USD conversion for the 29e loyalty code was $35.52 (I use a card that charges no foreign transaction fee) , so not much better than the $39 deal from Plugin Boutique.

BTW I just got a "Loyalty Discount" code from Audiomodern to get ChordJam for 29 Euros. I own Playbeat and Riffer. Check your email, I assume the code is unique.

Riffer is single note "melody" or "riff" oriented. This is chord oriented. I will certainly take a look at this one, as I have a large collection of MIDI tools that I depend on to prop up my "creativity"? . Scaler 2 is top of the heap in this (chord based) category, IMHO. I have both AudioModern's Riffer and Playbeat, and while I have gotten some great output from them, they are truly random generators, without the ability to apply any harmonic (other than scale) or meter based rules to kind of reign in the random creation to more musical output (like Captain Suite or Orb Producer, for example).

I have this, and while it is a very good collection, be aware that all the content is locked in a UVI proprietary format "blob". You can definitely pull anything out and save it in WAV format with Falcon or I assume the free UVI Workstation, but if you use a tool like the LoopCloud app or ADSR Sample Manager to search your stash, they are not going to see into the UVI "blob". Because of this, I have gotten very little use out of Mayhem. Maybe some script wizard will or has written a utility that can pull everything out to individual WAV files?
