I feel an acceleration in the force, yet the FOMO will not abide. In for a third dip. ???

That's right @kevin H. I have it, and it is safe and sound.... FOR NOW. You will get it back after you complete one more buy in for the GB. Any level is fine- I'm not a monster!

Going slightly OT, but this is where the IK brain-trust resides. I bought a USB measurement microphone with profile to use with Arc 3. I am using the ARC3 demo to confirm before adding to the list. I can NOT get past this error when it is suppose to make the actual measurements. (Win 10 Pro 21H1) I am running through ASIO4ALL 48K samples. It seems like ASIO would balk if there was device contention. Certainly no apps running in the task manager except ARC3. I tried killing bunches of processes, but no joy. Anything obvious I am overlooking before bugging IK? Thank you! BTW the measurement mic is not set to default comm or audio in Windows either.

Great post Steve. I have been using RC off and on since version 2, and it has come a LONG way in development and features. Atilla (the author) is VERY responsive to bug fixes and suggested features over on the KVR link you provided. There are some very helpful YouTubes by BluesHouse and the late Nevzat Yıldırım Sarıhan, who was a huge contributor to the development of Rapid Composer. You can find a lot of his progressions and other free content on the KVR forum. THERE IS A LEARNING CURVE to getting on with RC. The complexity bequeaths great versatility, however, so prepare to give it some time. I do have an understanding of music theory and harmony fundamentals, so I would speculate that a user coming in "cold" might be overwhelmed. This is WAY beyond Captain plug-ins (no slight there- a great product). Listen to some of Nezvat's creations on YT to get an idea of what RC can do (brilliant). BTW his name on KVR was "Yellukhan".

Come on Lucky Freebie #7.... Papa needs a new organ. <sigh> No. The B-3X

To be fair to LoopCloud- I knew about the policy to only allow credit spending while a member, as that was in place when I first bought in for a year. I felt that I got my money's worth even though I only "spent" less than half of it. I never bought any "packs"- just cherry-picked the stuff I wanted. If they eventually add a bunch of content I want, I can "buy in" for $8 and empty my credits. Much cheaper than keeping a constant sub and not using them ?

I did take the subscription for a three month free spin which I think ended in June (I now realize that is another reason that I didn't notice the new "free" policy until recently). I like it too, there are some really cool features that work pretty well, just not $100 a year worth. I had a one year plan that ended about a year ago and I still have about 2/3 of the credits I received left in my account. By the way, I can't USE those credits unless I pay for a subscription again (read the fine print). I am NOT opposed to subscriptions on principle BTW, I just got all the content I wanted and don't see the value FOR ME in the software alone. Enjoy it and have fun! The beauty of the subscription model is that you can drop it with no "buyer's remorse" over a $$$$ purchase ?.

Hmmmm 440 and dropping a bit faster. The Petermail effect, me thinks. Give in to the force.

This morning I noticed there was an update for the Loopcloud App so I went from 6.0 to 6.12. Their new policy is that you MUST be a subscriber to add ANY local loops that you already own to the database. HUGE deal-breaker for me. This was a good "free" utility, even with the limitations on using the sonic matching etc for subscribers. If anyone can point me to a 6.0 installer i would appreciate it. I am going to see if I can pull the installed files from a back-up to get the functionality back. BTW ADSR Sample manager is still free and I've actually been using it more than the Loopcloud app recently anyway. -additional info- My research indicates that this policy went into effect with version 6.0 around April this year. I didn't notice it until i recently rearranged my sample libraries and was not allowed to re-scan them. BUMS! Their software, their right to change policy, ******* move to make this change without warning. Here is a thread from another forum on the topic. Here is the link to ADSR Sample Manager that I actually found easier to use than Loopcloud. The only annoyance so far is a little suggestion window that pops up on boot (ya gotta pay for "free" somehow), and another small window that says your sample folders have new data (even when they don't). The tempo and key analysis works well, and there is even a pretty good built in stretch algorithm for tempo changing loops while holding pitch.

Or at least maybe add on to the GB entry list Resonator... I can't think of any titles at the moment Resonator, but there must be something appropriate. Resonator

The forum that shall remain nameless has a Mathematologist with graphing skills. Now let's parabolize that slope!

Alas- The shipping equals the microphone price for me (ECM8000). No one in the States appears to have them in stock for $30. I may pick up the ARC 3 anyway before "the end" and backorder the mic from Sweetwater.

Second buy in. Between the 95 GC I unknowingly had in the couch cushions, JamPoints, and credit card kickbacks, I got one $200 and one $150 buy in for $156.27 out of pocket. I feel like I got everything I wanted for about half the cost of the TSMax3 upgrade when it was on sale. I still have a few slots left for stuff that I have not yet discovered that I want. ?

As long as we are constructively thread building now- I decided I want to spend one of my freebies on the Leslie to relive my youth a few decades back when we used to run my guitar through one for a few tunes. I am comfortable with Amplitube, which I have been using for a while. Is there a good reason to consider getting the T-Racks version instead? From my research, it looks like Amplitube actually gives more routing options, but I would expect them to be the same?

Alexa just informed me that this is in my mailbox right now: I am pretty sure that Lars put me on to this a few days ago in this very forum. Y'all are a bunch of enablers y'know!

YES, you can! From now on, posting KVR answers here. Eventually he'll wander over to gawk at the tall (or red Italian) buildings.

So, I just found 95 IK Gear Credits in the couch cushions. The credits never really registered with me until this GB $200 times 6, 7?, 25? for $112 thing popped up. I bought in, and after purchase noticed that my GC balance was 95?. I bought my first IK (Sample Tank 2) in 2010 and of course accepted the 10 GC here, 10 GC there giveaways since, but never bought any. Now, do I blow it on another round, or let it accrue for the next GB (assuming I remember that I have them THEN) ? I guess they never expire! BTW MixBox is a real hoot! I am having second thoughts about spending one of my freebies on T-Racks 5, considering the amazing array in there. I already have some fancy-pants compressors and EQs...

OK- You got me too. I was thinking waiting for another TS3 Max deal but now I get Amplitube 5, Mixbox, Modo drum, Modo bass, T-racks 5 (all crossgrade pricing at $200 level) PLUS at least one other title for $112 total. <<GAS explosion>> GIMME!

Yes- I have V10 from a past freebie and now a "WUPless" V12 thanks to @FranciscoJ

Make that date September 1, 2021. They must have forgotten to change that when they pasted the sale info.

Looks like this is a good candidate for my August $25 voucher then. Thanks!

I was looking at this only for the Groove 3 pass, then coincidentally this afternoon got an offer for three months for $4.99/mo (Groove 3 ONLY!). Been a couple years, so I am in for that. If I want to keep it up, I think they usually have a November sale. This is the link from their email. It didn't look unique to me, but YMMV.
