  1. Oh Great, first Keith Wilby's Garden and now this? I read the first line in the description and knew I had to proceed. I like songs about real experiences. So I'm going to listen I like songs that move in and out. I can really hear the anguish coming through your guitar playing. This made me reflect on all the people I have loved that have passed, as well as the friends and family that are dealing with life's travails. Thankfully we can find some solace in the music we create. Bless you!
  2. I like the simple arrangement too. I really like your voice on this one. What is that instrument at 2:15? Wow, what a heartfelt piece. I really like it.
  3. This is a great question, but I find that I should always stop about 2 steps before I finally do. I think you should contact the team and pitch this to them. It would be perfect on the big screen at the stadium with full volume. I really appreciate the way you always seek to have better mixes. I learn from your queries on the sub forums. Keep on seeking!
  4. This reminds me a bit of King Crimson, and I like it! Jack, you are an endless river of musical ideas.
  5. Now this is something I can relate to in my own little way. What effects did you use on the vocal? Did you play the guitar? I like the way it has different comings and goings. Very cool and inspiring. It is a great message if you listen to the lyrics. This is cool, what do you call this style and who were some of your influences on this song?
  6. Nice JB, I am not familiar with the Cure at all. Nice guitar work and sounds. I did notice the backing vocals too, but can't make a comparison to the original. Nice mix and really like the guitar, if I may repeat myself.
  7. Phillip, was this a remix in response to the muddy comments? Just curious I like this a lot. It has a catchy vibe. I think you said that you only record instruments that you actually play. Did you do the drums too? The only thing I would like is for the intro to be a little longer, but this is radio ready! Had to listen twice.
  8. Vert Nice Larry, you engineered this real fine. The bass is nice. Great sounds all around. A pensive piece for introspection.
  9. Sargent Solar, I really appreciate that. You are such a generous friend. I will try to get my Sound Click account squared away. Really though, you are an example of what this forum is all about! I will be sending 200 Karma Credits your way this morning. I have a road trip to take and I will focus on getting those to you while I drive. The first 150 miles are on a road that has only 1 turn and 2 bends, so it will give me plenty to think about. Peace Be with You!
  10. The Man 4 Sure. (bang da dang thang).mp3
  11. @Byron Dickens Of course! The King, BB King. We should also remember @Notes_Norton it's not just guitars is it.
  12. not all cool kids can play, the two Roys liked it high, and they could slay it.
  13. @John Vere Hello John, after reading my comment about hits I realized that is sounded rude. I would like to apologize for posting that. I could have worded it better. You deserve compensation for all of your work. I hope for you to have all the success in the world. ?
  14. YOU LIE It could be worse you could be sporting a collar and knee pads all about the hits, HIt me, more, with your belt, your money belt make me write bad checks? John, you know I love you, right?
  15. I shudder to think what he could have done! He wouldn't be the Neil he was, for sure
  16. hello john the lurker, it is true what you say. For me, I stay because I get some laughs from the CH, some great links to music vids, and people in the song forum click on my links, and maybe even listen, and maybe respond. Then there are the real helpful members who know Cakewalk and will help in a jam. Glad you found the move in your favor.
  17. This is great. I can't wait to try this out. I still will need to execute the steps, and that might take me a while to actually do because I don't use EZ keys or Scaler much. Thanks for shining the light.
  18. I just listened to that for the first time today. SR is much more polished than this, but they probably rehearsed it at least once. Me? I just open me DAW, load some vsti, close my eyes, play whatever comes out of my muse, mix it, and call it a masterpiece? I'm not sure what to think about that. I have always liked pieces like SR, TAaB and what not. Thanks Andy, now I'm off to listen to your tutorial on using Scaler and EZ keys
  19. I believe you are there. Isn't that you in the pew on the left about a third of the way in the middle? Please let your houseplants know that I had no intention to scare them. I scare many, sometimes myself when in a moment of doubt. Yes, cheers
