What happened to Uncle Ernie?

I'm seeing $34 for a custom offer and $69 for the Tassman upgrade offer. Then, on the front/home page I see $99 $49. So, it depends on where you look.

What do you recommend for a VST guitar to midi solution?
fret_man replied to james rector's topic in Instruments & Effects
Jam Origin MIDI Guitar or Melodyne for me. Jam Origin seems to track better with less extraneous notes to me but Melodyne is more convenient. Since they both still need manual tough-ups, I tend to use Melodyne just for the convenience. -
Here are the current prices as Plugin Boutique: Scaler 2: $50 reMIDI2: $20 The bundle of the two together: $90 <- um, I'll just buy them separately thank you.

Oh, wait. It IS now on sale (it wasn't yesterday). $50 instead of $60.
-
This is on my "to buy" list once it goes on sale (again). I keep checking your Frog's BF listings.
-
Never mind. I see I already have this.

This currently on sale for $33 here. Has anyone used this? I like the idea of pin-pointing where the problems are in the timeline. I have the Izotope products, but still learning how to use them. Is there any reason to get this?

I can't get any of the instrument downloads to initiate. I downloaded the engine (~38MB zip file) but hitting the Download buttons on either of the 2 free instruments doesn't do anything. I tried different browsers. Any ideas?

NEW RELEASE: Ample Slide LapSteel + GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!
fret_man replied to Jason Morin's topic in Deals
Yes, you should get Luthier. Not only does it sound excellent but there's an extra discount if you already own a Amplesound product. -
But if you ARE interested, but want to wait to see if OTHER items of more interest go on sale, it's useful to know how long you have to wait before pulling the trigger on it.

Audiothing Reels 40% OFF - LoFi Tape and Echo Plugin
fret_man replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I am mainly interested on the start/stop tape audio affect, which Reels has. I also see the Wavefactory has a free cassette transport plugin that has this effect. Do any of the other tape emulations have this? So far, I haven't found any others. Do any of you know of any? Look for a Start and Stop button. The ones I've looked at don't have any. -

And now THIS challenge has ended! I was just about to start again but this time listen to the 60 cycle hum the original keyboard has but the model doesn't. Well, I missed the boat again....

NEW RELEASE: Ample Slide LapSteel + GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!
fret_man replied to Jason Morin's topic in Deals
WARNING: Topic Hijack: One of the few changes I'd like to see changed in their engine is to allow slide keyswitch (E0) velocity to change slide volume level. It is often too loud and sticks out too much. There are not many other things I'd change. These are fantastic products! One of the main advantages over OrangeTree (which is also great) is the implementation of MIDI Guitar. Using this you to specify which notes play on which strings, allowing you to play the SAME note on two different strings at the same time, along with all the slides and bends that give you that lovely dissonance. Not many instruments can do that.
