Hi Peeps, Over the last couple of years I've been experimenting with various SPAN settings and I am interested to here how everyone else here sets up their favourite Spectrum analyser I use SPAN on my Master bus, to check over all mix, and I like to see a stereo representation, so my GUI looks like this:- White for left, Red for right. And these are my settings:- Anyone care to comment, or share their SPAN settings?

Windows 10's new Ransomware "feature" blocks most applications that want to store information in the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming folder. In the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Cakewalk folder are kept the following sub folders:- So if any preferences or settings are stored in any of those folders you usually have to add Cakewalk.exe to the list of allowed applications. At least that is how I understand it, and I have had issues with Cakewalk, REAPER, Sound Forge, amongst other until I add them to that list. I am not saying that this is the issue here. I did say that it is a long shot...

I tried Sonarworks... Didn't work for me for some reason. I just got used to my headphones character along with using SPAN and also checking mixes on my nearfields.

Hi John I think the question here is, though, why even use MP3 files in the first place? As Richard has confirmed in an earlier post, the guy who sent the files was worried about audio degradation, but hopefully we have helped to clear that misconception now.
