  1. I know that there's Clip env in the Track itself and Clip env in each Take Lane. I'm talking about the Clip env in the Take Lane. Perhaps my terminologies are wrong, but here some specific examples : 1. Let say you have clips, (Record 1, Record 2, Record x) in a Take Lane, and you want to lower the gain for the clip Record 1. So you create a gain env in that Take Lane, now you have gain env for all the clips in that Take Lane, i,e, Record 2, Record x also have gain env. Wouldn't it be better to, say, right click on Record 1 and create a gain env just for Record 1? 2. Now you create some nodes and change the gain for the various part of Record 1. Now copy or move Record 1 to another Take Lane, yes the env is copied with the clip but try to add/delete nodes or change the gain level of the env of the copied or moved clip, it won't let you do it. 3. Let say you leave the Take Lane gain env active (Clip Automation selected), and you draw some env for some clip on another Take Lane but within the same time frame as Record 2, now suddenly Record 2 have the nodes drawn onto its env, when you don't intend to touch Record 2 at all. This behavior is not consistent but occurred more than enough to be annoying.
  2. I played with it for awhile could not figure it out, no locked screenset and no Lens.
  3. Keni, I'm talking about Clip env. In Clip env, the env is created for the entire take lane. If you then later move/copy that clip to another lane or track, you cannot edit the env for the copied or moved clip. What I'm saying is to have those env part of the clip and not the lane.
  4. For some reason when I open a project, the Browser tab (docked on the right) is always open by default. Is there away to keep it minimize-docked? I did the save screen, but it still open when project loaded.
  5. After all that said, what I really work on are clips. Would be great if the clip object can be part of the Take Lane or whatever. My issue is the envelopes in the Take Lane. For example, when I create a gain envelope for a clip, that envelope should be only for that clip and not the entire lane and all of the other clips in that lane.
  6. Eureka! Disable Window Defender and not display the load dialog doesn't have any affect. However, I noticed that the CbB process was set to compatibility mode Window7. Uncheck this in the process properties and the load time is now compatible to SPlat.
  7. Windows 7. Mine is not connect to network when in use. I can disable window defender and see.
  8. I posted similar observation in the old Sonar forum, but just found out about this new forum. It's New Year so in with the new.? I did a comparison of open the exact same projects and CbB consistently took 2 to 3 times longer than SPlat. As if SPlat loads from cache and CbB loads from disk. The projects typically have a couple VST instruments and Drums and a couple dozen plug-ins or so. Anyone experiencing this and is there a setting somewhere to bypass that lower right corner pop-up (loading ...), perhaps that where the issue is.
