Adjusting Multiple Velocity Notes Quickly
Scott R. Garrigus replied to Johnbee58's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
You can use the Event Inspector to do this... here's a video of how to use it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ixb8gIcGM-U&list=PLFdNhPVD03KCTxKOWpz8tfzCMbWfXASJS&index=4&t=0s Also, for those that don't already know... new tutorials are in the works for this channel... don't be fooled by the lack of activity there. Go ahead and subscribe (free) to the channel... it will see new life soon... https://www.youtube.com/user/ScottGarrigus?sub_confirmation=1 -- Scott R. Cassette tape transfer to DAW, help please
Scott R. Garrigus replied to Alan's topic in Instruments & Effects
That should work fine as long as you're connecting from line outputs on the deck to line inputs on the VS100. Also, Ozone is mainly for mastering. iZotope RX is their software for audio noise removal. -- Scott R. LOL! You guys are a riot. Yes, come one, come all to the greatest site on Earth! Seriously through, a lot of people are viewing that page, so I figured I would help give Cakewalk a little publicity boost. By the way, I also recommend the full version of Kontakt. ? @Jim Fogle I took that description directly from the Cakewalk by Bandlab site. I think they mean you can build your own channel strip via the expandable ProChannel with the modules that are included. I don't think they mean there are expansions available. That would be cool, but since we can add plug-ins to the channel via the FX Chain module, I don't see them releasing any new dedicated modules. -- Scott R. Just so other users know... You can also use MIDI to control Cakewalk by choosing the option in Keyboard Shortcuts. And the AirTurn has a very detailed MIDI mode... https://www.airturn.com/support/midi/midi-mode-explained -- Scott R. That's true. You have to hover right over the little flag on the top of the marker to see the cursor change. I do a quick zoom with the mouse wheel when markers are too close together, but a slightly larger hit box would be nice. -- Scott R.
