John, I just started getting this problem, too. I can't save a project file as a bundle file until I open up every track to check for empty take lanes and delete them. This never seemed to happen until recently. I, too, over wright and have CW set up to use only one lane.

The click track can be turned on and off in the control panel. If turn off for recording, the click track only makes sound during the count-off and then goes silent during the recording. If turned on for recording, the click track plays all the way through the song.

It sounds like your echo input button is on. Turn it off before recording.

Rex, I've been uploading and downloading 24/48k wave files to Drop Box and OneDrive for years to share with other musicians. Is that not available to you?

Or, hit the letter H and open up the track manager to see hidden and displayed tracks.

It looks like your input echo should be activated on track 3 rather than track 2.

I'm sure this has been suggested before, but I may have missed it. Why not put a solo button on ProChannel modules, especially the QuadCurve flyout? A third party CW user once did this (Panup), and it was incredibly useful.

Try sending your vocal to two different busses; one with the vocorder and one without. Blend the two together, adding just enough vocorder to get the effect, but not so much as to muddy the sound to achieve clarity.

I have the latest version (2022.02), but it didn't pick up MCP until I deleted entries of it in the registry first, per the instructions sent by Vladimir. I never thought to try a re-scan. Good to know!

I'm sharing this with the CW community, as I recently had a problem with an update for MCP. An update notice came up while inserting MCP into my master buss. I followed the link and updated MCP to the latest version 1.2.0. I installed in the recommended locations, and when finished, I inserted it into CW. Unfortunately, I got a message that it failed to load, so I redownloaded and reinstalled, and still the same problem. I then filed a ticket with Audified, and got this response the next day, which solved the problem. Here is their reply: I hope this might help anyone with the same problem.

Hi, Tom, thanks for your time and feedback! I thought about leaving f/x off the guitar, but in the long run, it was like having vanilla ice cream with or without chocolate. I used a Melda Phaser for a wah-wah like effect, and borrowing a Jeff Beck technique, just raised it a bit on selected measures for accent. It could have gone either way, but I do like chocolate

Jack, you truly are a gifted songwriter! Your words are provocative and deserve to be heard a bit more clearly, which could simply be just turning them up a db or two. Otherwise, I like everything else, though, the song screams out for a solo instrument in places. Just a thought. All in all, a winner!

Fred, first, this is an awesome song! Second, the detail in the mix is terrific, and the separation of all elements is very good. I wouldn't mind hearing a little more bass and drums, but just a db or two, and that might superglue this mix into something spectacular. Right now, this is ready for a radio as is. Super Duper!

Plus, I did some of that on individual track, too, to keep the mud as low as possible. I also use Izotope Imager on the master to subtly widen the mix as needed. I've always liked a wide, stereo signal.
