David, thank you for your constructive words! This was one of the questions I had when I posted this. What I think you're hearing is this: I used preset beats from Superior Drummer 3's percussion program. I started with the cajon, and then, layered congas and bongos over it. I experimented a bit with polyrhythm by combining straight and swing beats in the same measure (something I picked up from listening to King Crimson and Bill Bruford). I recorded everything else to these beats. Whether this works or not depends on the listener, ultimately. It takes good ears to catch nuances like this, so, well done. John, it's good to be back. Thanks for your ears! As for Harmony, I found a minor chord preset that seemed to fit and recorded it live rather than adding it afterwards. I felt that hearing the effect while recording made me use my voice more as an instrument to find those sweet spots. It's interesting that you heard the different percussion loops, too, as it was a question mark. To you and David, so noted. Thanks guys!

Mark, thanks for your time and ears! That low drum is a cajon from SD3's percussion kit; I like it, too, and have never used it before. I used a similar technique on the vocal that you describe, using a clean vocal track and combining with the processed sound. In Harmony, setting up is as easy as pie. Most of the presets need only a little tweaking to get a cool sound. But, MUST NOT OVERUSE IT! Nigel, thank you for your kind words! I took a look at the Zplanes and noticed that Waves is about$100 cheaper. Otherwise, I don't know unless I get it in my hands. I may demo this.k Good luck with your new album! Hello to all my CW friends! It's been a long 6 months since I've had much spare time, but here I am with a new song. I recently purchased Waves Harmony and used it on this song to experiment a bit. I would like to have commented many times, but time has been precious this year. Thanks in advance for your time and good ears! Lynn 9/28/22 Thanks to my co-producers here, I remixed the percussion, smoothed a few rough edges, and slightly rearranged the beats. I also lessened the f/x on my vocals a bit and raised the bass gtr a tad. I think this helped to get me closer to the end.

John, I just started getting this problem, too. I can't save a project file as a bundle file until I open up every track to check for empty take lanes and delete them. This never seemed to happen until recently. I, too, over wright and have CW set up to use only one lane.

The click track can be turned on and off in the control panel. If turn off for recording, the click track only makes sound during the count-off and then goes silent during the recording. If turned on for recording, the click track plays all the way through the song.

It sounds like your echo input button is on. Turn it off before recording.

Rex, I've been uploading and downloading 24/48k wave files to Drop Box and OneDrive for years to share with other musicians. Is that not available to you?

Or, hit the letter H and open up the track manager to see hidden and displayed tracks.

It looks like your input echo should be activated on track 3 rather than track 2.

I'm sure this has been suggested before, but I may have missed it. Why not put a solo button on ProChannel modules, especially the QuadCurve flyout? A third party CW user once did this (Panup), and it was incredibly useful.

Try sending your vocal to two different busses; one with the vocorder and one without. Blend the two together, adding just enough vocorder to get the effect, but not so much as to muddy the sound to achieve clarity.

I have the latest version (2022.02), but it didn't pick up MCP until I deleted entries of it in the registry first, per the instructions sent by Vladimir. I never thought to try a re-scan. Good to know!

I'm sharing this with the CW community, as I recently had a problem with an update for MCP. An update notice came up while inserting MCP into my master buss. I followed the link and updated MCP to the latest version 1.2.0. I installed in the recommended locations, and when finished, I inserted it into CW. Unfortunately, I got a message that it failed to load, so I redownloaded and reinstalled, and still the same problem. I then filed a ticket with Audified, and got this response the next day, which solved the problem. Here is their reply: I hope this might help anyone with the same problem.
