Great song and arrangement, Steve. I listened to the two versions and liked them both. A shining example for all of us.

I like the avant-garde vibe of this tune and the experimental nature of the arrangement. This is what happens when you have so many ideas that you can't contain them. What really stands out for me is your haunting vocal; you got that two part harmony down. Don't stop!!!

All round great production! I particularly like the arrangement for this and the smooth vocals. Makes me want to do better!

Hi Jack, thanks for listening in and your perceptive response! Perhaps you listened to the first version instead of 2.0? Markno999 and I cleaned up the beginning in 2.0, which others had noticed, too. I appreciate your input! Thank you, Wookie for your kind words and time! I always feel better when it sounds good on your system. Markno999 gets the credit for the cool drums; this is where he really shines.

If you're using ASIO drivers, the sliders don't respond. Use the ASIO control panel.

So much appreciated, Jesse! You're the leader of "outside the box", and you've inspired many to think differently about how to present music. Rock on!
-
Good job, Keith! It's got the right blend of polish and grit to make it sound ready for prime time. Next!
-
As always, you have demonstrated to us all that you are one of the very best musicians and composers around! I never fail to learn something from you. Keep up the good work, Rob!

I like the sparseness of this tune and the uncommon arrangement. It's melodic but not overly sweet, kinda like the way I like my desserts. Is this a finished product, or do you plan on adding more? Regardless, it's a cool jam!

Daryl, you and Ed have cooked up a terrific song! The words and music are a perfect pair, and all the performances are polished. You have raised the bar, yet again, for the rest of us
-
You're going in the right direction, Keith. Full speed ahead!

This one brings a smile to my face! Nothing predictable here. It reminds me of the lyrics "you gotta be cruel to be kind", if you know that song. Your landscape is never ending...
-
Another brilliant vocal, Steve! It's all there, just waiting for an audience. The mix is polished, but not overly so. Good vibes!
-
Terrific, Bjorn! You make it seem so easy, but I know how much work goes into something like this. Very cool!
-
Exciting video and terrific song! Just a question if you don't mind: do you film your sequences?

Noynekker, thank you for your nice comments and suggestion! You may be right about an explosion at the end of this song; a cool idea that may find its way there. Actually, I was looking for something different to end the song because I often just fade out the ending. Again, thanks for the encouraging words!

Remove Project from Start Screen
Lynn Wilson replied to David Shaun Harris's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Just inhabit your start screen with new projects; the older ones will be pushed further and further into the background until they are gone. No real need to eliminate them altogether. -
Your songwriting and producing are better than ever! This is quite sophisticated on many levels and cooler than heck! The vocal is very ambitious - way outta my reach Keep it up!

You have one of the best voices around, and you know how to use it to your advantage! Both of these new songs you have posted have the same soulful flavor, and show off your terrific songwriting. The vocals and instruments are well mixed and pleasant to listen to. I'm now inspired to check out Tonex because I love the sound of your guitar! Stay well!

Kevin, it's great to hear from you! Thank you for your comments and kind thoughts! I'm looking forward to hearing your latest song, and thank you for mentioning "At The End Of Forever". Both songs were written within days of each other, so they kind of go together.
-
Steve, how kind of you to say that! I come to this forum because there are so many good ears that can hear what I can't. You are one of them! So many thanks to Markno999, as well.

Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate your notice of the guitar in the chorus; sometimes I get lucky

Thank you, Makke, it's always good to hear from you! Love your new song!
