  1. Not sure if this is what you need: The elapsed time is always diplayed inside the export module (weird...), but is very handy. I think the time is displayed in SMPTE time always, but can't be 100% sure.
  2. Yes, that was it! I've been hoping for this feature for ever... and it was already there. Very useful to track duration of sections or the whole project...! Thanks a lot, very helpful!
  3. Thank you all. Didn't know about this feature. Never used before...! Now I can read the aim assist time... but ... apparently it's displaying the time of the cursor, not the elapsed time of the selection. May be I'm missing something?
  4. Glenn, I can't find the elapsed time that your picture shows. How do you get it? This is what I got:
  5. I think those are not markers. The yellow one is linked to Looping, and marks the region that is looped - deselect Loop and it will go away. The green one is the time ruler selection area - deselect and it will go away as well.
  6. I use this to keep track of the length of the cue: Create an arranger track that is set to absolute time. Draw the section at the exact in-outs of your cue. Select the section. You will get the length of the selection in the Export module. See pic.
  7. Hi, I just discovered that you can actually extract existing midi keyswitches embed in a midi track exported from external software, into the articulation track in CW. Amazing! Now I can write in Dorico notation program - export as midi tracks - import into CW - convert the articulations into CW articulation track. Now, anyone knows if the opposite is possible? convert articulation maps created in CW into midi keyswitches? Thanks
  8. Ahhh, this can be confusing: Column 1 indicates the second octave, column 2 the third and column three the eight. Hence D2-C3-F8
  9. Just check that your articulation map in CW matches exactly the VSL keyswitches. Bear in mind that your octave base settings in CW can transpose your keyswitches.
  10. Are you using some Windows cleaner? (CC Cleaner-Microsoft PC Manager...) If it erases cookies, you need to sign-up in Bandlab again. It happened to me.
  11. No tech expert here, but as a user, I've experienced that the performance of the VST depends more in the way it is designed to work, and less in the size of the sample content. i.e, VSL has HUGE e libraries, but the performance is superb. Their VST engine is proprietary, and is really efficient. Other engines working on smaller sample content are much less efficient and uses a lot of resources.
  12. I do use ARC Studio. It made a huge difference not only in the accuracy of the frequencies, but also made the listening experience a lot better in the whole production process, from scratch to Mastering. Highly recommended.
  13. Yeah, I like your suggestions. I can improve a lot working for video. The workaround of using sections is time consuming. Nice to have a Meter lane.
  14. Ah, I would add that you can measure sections or an entire project by creating/selecting sections, and checking the elapsed time in the export module. If you create a section configured as time based, the section will preserve the SMPTE time regardless of other factors like tempo. Very useful to keep track of the length of the project when you change the tempo or you are working for video.
  15. You can find this information in the Export Module (full size). Select either the region/clip/section and the elapsed time will show there. See pic.
  16. I tested CW latest build (2024.02 build 98) + Melodyne latest realese 5.3.1.018 + Addictive Drums 2.3.4 build 23.1114 So far, all of them are working fine in my system. I changed melodyne algorithms several times, and worked as expected.
  17. Also, you could delete all controllers, or the ones you don't need, by using Edit/Select/Filter. I do it all the time to clean midi files imported from other programs.
  18. Right, it can be confusing! The layout MUST be selected to take effect, in both places, plugin manager and browser. Glad it's working!
  19. Charles, double check your procedure: they should be identical. Look:
  20. May be this is what you want: Go to Plugin Manager Save (or select if you already did that) a Layout File Close Go to the plugin tab in the Browser Tab (on the right) Click on Plugins Select the same Layout File It should show your plugins in the same way as you saved in the plugin Manager See pics -
  21. Bear in mind that you can quick group tracks and/or buses and lower the volume of all with one stroke. Depending on your levels, one way to go is Quick Group and lower all the tracks involved. If the tracks have acceptable levels, then I would do the quick grouping at the bus level. I do both all the time. I never touch the Main Output.
