  1. Wow! I needn't have rushed ? Looks like I will be getting 2 of a few things if that's possible. Thanks to all those generous IK people and especially Peter and Ryan ?
  2. Thanks for the reply arnoldoo. I left it until the last minute in case the Labor Day sale price was suddenly available for those buying in Europe but alas that was not the case. However, it was easy to justify by thinking about the extraordinary value added by all of those Group Buy products. I have contacted Peter and opened a support ticket so ??
  3. Rather than miss out on the GB I just went ahead and ordered the AXE I/O from IKM at normal price minus (reduced) jampoints. However, I don't see any GB option in my account (User Area - Promotions) so how does that happen? I thought if I bought direct from IKM then the GB would automatically appear in my account ? Hopefully Peter can help?
  4. That does sound likely Larry. All we need now is for the actual price to be lowered in line with Labor Day sales but I won't hold my breath.
  5. I have been doing this "calculation" all week via IKM's website.... Put an AXE I/O in your cart, calculate 30% in jampoints (349.99 EUR x 0.3 = 104.99) and redeem that many jampoints in your cart. The final amount you pay should work out at around 300 EUR (271 GBP inc VAT at present exchange rates) but as of today it won't accept this many jampoints. As I said I have been "testing" this out all week on their website in readiness for purchase and 104.99 jampoints has worked fine every time until now. I have just tried other values out and it now only accepts 90 jampoints or lower. Guess I will wait to see what happens on Monday but time is running out! It's also looking like the Labor Day sale that has enabled some of you lucky folk in the US to get an AXE I/O for a lot less than above does not apply in the UK (the closest thing in the UK seems to be Labour Day which was celebrated on 1st May).
  6. Waiting to hear your verdict with baited breath! ?
  7. No probs Mesh but thanks for the thought...hope you manage to weather the storm! Looks like a nasty one ?
  8. Cheers Mesh! Just checked Amazon UK and it's normal price ☹️. Shipping from Amazon US is 73.96 USD ?
  9. Thanks Larry. Sweetwater doesn't do free shipping to the UK and IK's site is still showing normal price for me. I will wait and see if anything changes later though ? Also, I wonder if IK did reduce the price for labor day then they might not allow use of jampoints. I will keep an eye out though, cheers.
  10. Thanks Larry. I would definitely jump on the AXE I/O in that case but just looking there now and I don't see any h/w deals. Is it US only or maybe it starts after a certain time? AXE I/O is still showing 349.99 EUR excluding VAT.
  11. Worth it at that price Larry. I'm sure I paid more even though I bought it in a sale. I have used it more than I thought I would. Like most Eventide stuff there are tons of presets!

    UVI Toy Suite

I keep hoping that UVI catch the $29 bug before too long. ??
  13. Thanks Peter! Gives me a bit more breathing space ?
  14. Good spot Larry ?? Yes this looks very good for the money Grem. There is also a free version with some limitations (listed on the page) if you want to try it out first (you have to provide your email address)... https://harvestplugin.com/free/ There seems to be a lot of thought gone into this and the paid version seems worth it for the extras it adds, especially at this price, such as the ability to lock notes, custom note selection etc.
  15. Just quickly ran through the presets and most are instantly recognizable. I have only tried it with my default guitar (USA Tele) which sounds surprisingly good considering how unique Mr May's guitar is. It will also be interesting to try out all of the included BM effects pedals and use the presets on a version of Fat B G that I'm working on.
  16. I've been away over the bank holiday and wondering whether I left it too late ☹️ I am hovering over the buy button for AXE I/O (approx 278 GBP inc VAT and max jampoints) to get the GB deal which would pretty much complete my IK collection ? I could sell my existing interface for around 80 to 100 GBP so effective cost is around 200 GBP for AXE I/O, T-Racks Leslie, AT Dimebag Collection, AT Leslie, AT Mesa Boogie, Tape Machine 24, Tape Machine 80, Tape Machine 99, Tape Machine 440. Only thing is I think I have left it too late to buy and register the AXE I/O before 31st August. Does anyone know whether I can buy it now from IK and register it straight away for the Group Buy or do I have to wait until it physically arrives?
  17. Great idea Grem! I have 25 GCs already so I can buy 75 GCs with max jampoints and together with my existing GCs (and VAT) Brian May works out at around 58 GBP!
  18. Yes, same happened to me ?
  19. Wow indeed! There's a patch in GR5 I use for BM tones when I need them but this is a whole other world ? Nice job with the demo too Peter.
  20. FWIW I had the following reply from InSession (sending from phone so cannot see an easy way to put this in a quote) .... it is not possible to route each sound to an individual output. The reason is a bit technical, but this is it: Internally Kontakt's structure has four "rows" for FX: Group Bus Insert Send To offer individual outputs, Kontakt can only do this in one place: right after Bus effects, but before Insert. This means that the sound doesn't have the option of "hitting" the Insert row of FX - and Riff Generation has every slot in this row filled with an effect. Put another way: if we offered individual outputs, the sound would never get to the compressor, EQ, delay, reverb or burst delay and burst reverbs. End of quote
  21. Got it, thanks TS. Having looked at the video and PDF manuals I cannot see any way to route each instrument to its own output. That would be a useful revision IMHO so I will send a request to InSession.
  22. MIDI files for any riff can be exported directly from the interface via drag-and-drop, or MIDI can be sent out in real time to other virtual instruments. Not sure about routing each instrument to its own output but there is supposed to be a PDF manual which I haven't found as yet which might cover it (I have asked InSession for a copy).
