Yes I am keeping an eye on that one too Mesh. Don't think they had a BF deal last year so fingers crossed for this year. Just trying chordpotion demo and really like it. Just..... gotta.... hang..... on.... for..... BF ?
-
Thanks Larry. Kind of like an "EzKeys on steroids" MIDI plugin although obviously it works slightly differently. You feed it plain MIDI chords and it can create up to 4 lines of patterns (Top - melody, Chords, Bass and Extra). You can apply one of the many built in presets to each line and apply many different randomisations to each line or globally. Will give the demo a try for sure. I noticed from TTF's VI-Control thread for last year that Feelyoursound had a 15% BF sale last year but I don't know if that was in addition to the existing bundle reductions. So I'm going to wait and see what happens this year for BF as I am also interested in Sundog Studio and Melodicflow.

Thanks Larry. Also noticed a couple of updates on their plugins so might be worth checking if you have any of them. e.g. Deleight is now v1.1.2 and Distortion now v1.0.1. I also have Tube Modulator and Xenoverb which are both on v1.1 (no change for me). SEE BELOW... EDIT: After checking in more detail it seems that Audiority are a bit lax at updating their in-app version numbers. Here's a screenshot showing Control Panel's view of the version of Deleight installed versus the app itself. The same is true of Distortion. So only update them if you like wasting time. I have emailed the developer!

Sorry, my mistake I just checked and Melodyne was in the installer but it may be that the installer is generic for different editions as it looks as though you only get a Melodyne license with one of the higher editions (Acid Pro Next, Acid Pro Next 365 and Acid Pro Next Suite). I have removed that misinformation from my post now. See here for a comparison of editions.... https://www.magix.com/us/music/acid/acid-pro/version-comparison/#c1045545
-
It was an option in the installer but come to think of it I don't recall seeing a license anywhere. Will check again later as I'm not near my PC at present.

Thanks for your help Kenny. I will have a deeper delve today. EDIT: Yes that was it Kenny - wasn't expecting to find the download within the program itself but I guess Magix software tends to be a bit like that. I have to say that I was impressed with the demo song (New World). I remember Acid from a good few years ago but never really considered it to be my kind of thing. However, it definitely looks worthy of further investigation (even though I got it for my daughter ) Some of the other posts in this thread have also piqued my interest ?? I was also surprised to see that it included Melodyne (Essential I assume) which I don't need as I have Editor but could resell to make the effective cost zero or maybe even a small profit!

Glad to hear that you got it sorted Kenny. I have finally got around to installing this and it installed OK and scanned all of my plugins without any dramas apart from one WaveShell vst. Only issue is there are no loops. The installation program didn't offer to install any and l don't see any in my account. I thought it came with 9Gb of them? If so does anyone know how to get them? Thanks

Thanks matey. Knew I could count on you.

Thanks Fleer! Yes you might be right. I have never had any luck with MF or GC which is why I have no orders with them looking at my accounts there. Understandable with physical things like guitars etc where shipping costs would be astronomical but for emailed serials it seems a bit over the top. I use VPNs with other US companies just fine when I need to but there's just something about their site. I have tried all possible combinations but finally given up and asked someone US based to buy it on my behalf
-
Thanks Matthew! Having a few problems trying this via vpn (connected via USA). When PayPal sends me back to MF I hit complete order and nothing happens ? How are you vpn folk getting this to work?

Pleased that you figured it out Larry. When I look at the Audio MIDI setup dialog box I notice that the input is ghosted out (and displays AXE IO ASIO) and only the output is selectable. I guess that is the same issue you mention. It would seem sensible to allow you to select either the input or output port and then automatically default the other one to the same device. Would be even nicer if Amplitube auto-detected and if found auto-defaulted to the AXE IO Audio Interface (user changeable afterwards of course).
-
I also had a quick look on the IKM forum but drew a blank https://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum/viewforum.php?f=9&start=25 so maybe call support as Grem suggests.
-
Strange that Larry. I have recorded quite a few tracks with the AXE I/O and Amplitube without any issues using ASIO. A few are even using the Brian May module and it never missed a beat. Assume you updated the firmware in the AXE I/O when you first got it and are running latest driver?
-
Funilly enough I thought the same apart from the odd one. I only really bought it to say thanks though.

I don't think there was one Fleer. I make it 19 LABS libraries in total and I just realised that I am missing Music Box so downloading that one now. Loving those Synth Wave patches in Opia.

I ordered yesterday 5.30pm UK time and the redeem code arrived at 5.54am this morning UK time. So that's just over 12 hrs but it might have been same day for Uncle E as I think he's in California which is 8hrs behind UK. I have had to email them before about delayed serials but they usually reply pretty quickly after that so might be worth a try if you don't hear anything soon.

Cheers Mesh! I spent ages on the presets alone with a few tweaks here and there. Some great effects and of course the amps in BA Pro 2 are also ace. I am getting a very pleasing crunch sound.
-
Hey Mesh, I went for Bias FX 2 Pro and really pleased with the tones I'm getting out of this beast ?? That Guitar Match is also pretty cool - turned my Tele into a Les Paul (well almost) ?
-
That's one thing I never understood with their Plugin Manager. It must be one of the few that doesn't allow you to only download/update the plugins that need it. It's why I still update manually for PA plugs --> check version of plugins available in my account then check version installed on my PC and only download those that need updating (which is a pita). I even emailed them about it as I'm sure others must have but it still works the same way with the new update. ?

Thanks Larry! Just checked MODO Drums and it adds a promo code MOD050 which deducts another 50 EUR (149.99 EUR plus VAT for me) but won't let you use Jampoints as well.
-
Very nice and all of V Collection has been updated including Analog Lab 4.
-
Thanks for the update. I just tried to buy Japan's Vintage again and it worked fine this time and installed OK.
-
That's a tricky one Mesh. I bought Heavyocity's Vocalise Gravity Pack 2 soon after I bought full Kontakt but have rarely found a use for it. I wished that I had gone for Exhale instead with all of the expansions you can get and since then I have tried the Signal demo which is also pretty impressive. If you are feeling flush Output are doing 65%+extra 25% off their full suite again on their website --> https://output.com/products#instruments

Hmm, tempting! I have Bias Amp 2 Professional and Bias FX 1 Professional. I could upgrade to FX 2 Professional for around 41 USD at JRR and the upgrade from Bias Amp 2 Pro to Elite is currently 50 USD at PG (around 70 GBP all in).

I received a reply saying So I don't think he understood me as that was exactly where I tried to buy it from in the first place! I have replied to his email but this time placed the above picture of the failed transaction in-line in my reply rather than as an attachment which I am guessing he didn't see last time I sent it. Also forgot to say yesterday, if anyone is using anything other than the default skin you might not see the "purchased" tab. That happened on the skin I was using so I had to switch back to default to be able to select the purchased tab and see the "refresh my licenses/restore my expansions" options in the browser.
