This had a unique sprechstimme that sounded familiar but also original at the same time. Loved the understated horns.

I like this all around: the lyric-subject and the bluesy presentation. The crowd sounded real!

Rex this is elvis worthy. Your voice has gravitas. wedding song (?)
-
Nice chorus on this. cymbal crashes red lined on my speakers, though. Your songs have a gritty verisimilitude.

Love the sound of the single coil pickups. excellent recording.

Does the new omsi have a planetarium? I know the old one did. This would work well.

My sister and I used to listen to monkees records together. I remember this very song. You did an incredible job on it.

Thanks for watching. Ya I optimised it for *youtube* during export and this is how it came out... Kind of grainy. I didn't want to upset the kids. Thanks for watching wookie. Ya I know where you're talking about. If we ever re-record this, we'll fix that. :D:D Thank you for watching Kurt S. Just me?! :D:D Thanks for watching jesse. I'm glad you like the eagle, it's kind of strange that the segment right before it is of a condor. Thanks for watching and listening. This singer is Jennifer McGill. Ha, pipsqueak call, but they're really gorgeous birds, no? We were a little concerned that the lyrics were to artsy (qua poetry),but it does kind of all come together nicely. Thanks for your kind appraisal, John. I used premiere pro for this one, but I used zero transitions. It needs some more fiddling. Thanks for the kind comments nigel. Thank you again for watching.

reminds me of summer. All of you are awesome. Esp enjoyed the base.

scary video! Great pop song.

It has a nice trajectory, the way it builds. It kind of reminds me of the incidental music at epcot center. Maybe add some cannon shots (1812 overture)? (j/k)

*you don't have enough to say*; that's how I feel when it's my turn to solo in a jazz tune. :D:D I love the chord progression as well. Your songs always take me to a new place.

Such a bittersweet melody, it's perfect for the lyrics you chose. I didn't feel the intro was too long, it really sets a mood. Beautiful song, and I love your performance of it.

You've done it a gain, sir. You have great skill in keeping the listener interested throughout a piece.

I listened on cheap speakers and it sounded magnificent.

I can see where you're coming from about Bowie. I can hear his voice over this. Deciding on lyrics will be tough.

I'm better at song writing than making videos. Is the eagle at the end too foreboding?

This is like listening in the middle of a forest; How alive it all is.In fact as I was listening, birds started singing outside. Quite an experience. Definitely the soundtrack to the northwest. (or should I say greater Idaho :D:D)

Great performance! And, great song!
