Yeah, IK's policy of charging customers $10 USD to re-download libraries after 90 days is definitely not a good,, customer friendly, policy, IMO. I always hoped they'd eventually drop that, but that hasn't happened.
180 days, and I've rekindled some conversations about that recently and will share any news that comes out of that. There have been some recent changes like the TONEX Pedal transferring the bonus software (AT5) and the TONEX MAX software (since it functions as the librarian and carries a lot of Premium Tone Models) so I'm optimistic we can keep moving in the right direction.

We reduced most of our prices recently, including upgrades that dropped more than $100 lower than they had been on flagship products so things have been changing for the better and likely will continue to do so. There are also incentives for loyal customers beyond just JamPoints like the additional $50 off we offered for MAX users to upgrade (off of already-reduced pricing during the aforementioned price drops) and the current $100 off the lowered upgrade pricing on Total Studio 4 MAX for 3/3.5 MAX users that we've been mailing to customers (on a Total Studio package that added a lot of products yet still lowered every price point by hundreds compared to 3/3.5 MAX pricing).

@Peter - IK Multimedia Thanks for changing the policy to be responsive to the needs to your customers.
Curious folks can check out TheGearPage.net for the discussion thread.
No problem, I won't claim to be solely responsible but my opinion and data gathered figures into this and other changes regularly (sorry didn't mean that to sound smug or whatever, just assuring folks I put my 0.02 worth into these discussions as strongly as I can as much as I can).
Also, there is indeed more related news coming on this front. I believe it is just being tested currently before any news can be shared.

TONEX Pedal doesn't cost anything to transfer and also transfers the TONEX MAX and AmpliTube 5 software all free of charge. We should have some additional news soon on the topic too.

The general JamPoints page on our site is at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/jampoints/
If you visit the JamPoints section of your IK User Area https://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea/jampoints/ you should see them used from oldest to newest, I just checked multiple accounts and that's how they were utilized.

Or because this is FX Pick & Mix Group Buy specifically for T-RackS and AmpliTube effects... We have been having group buys for years, haven't had bad luck with them so we'll probably keep doing them.
Also, we're at 8 for the price of one now and close to the next tier. If it isn't for you, understood, but for those interested the pace is picking up which is expected once people realize that if everybody waits, nobody wins... Again, not remotely our first rodeo.

Does anyone know if this purchase qualifies for the group buy or not. @Peter - IK Multimedia, could you weigh in?
This does not qualify for the group buy as TONEX is not part of the group buy.
Also, for others - this uses a promo code which is why it cannot be combined with JamPoints as promo codes and JamPoints cannot be stacked.

The group buy has reached 7 for the price of 1

Just want to give a shoutout to @telecode 101 for giving excellent advice on which freebies I should check out. He recommended the X-Gear and Fulltone effects for Amplitube. I demoed all of them, loved everything, then got them and proceeded to create a bunch of new presets. Thanks, telecode 101, I appreciate it.
+1, great suggestions.

I giveth (props) yet taketh away... We cannot add Morley but the group buy has added AmpliTube 5 and T-RackS 5 v2.
Also, the GB is at 6 for the price of 1 now.

Sorry seems to have been stuck at 437 for a while yesterday, I had reported it but didn't see it unstuck until this morning. The group buy has crossed the next tier after The Unstickening so it is now at 5 for the price of 1.

Oh and as you'd be on non guitar stuff, maybe make the Hammond plugin work in Cakewalk. For now I just use other organs.
Hammond B-3X should work without issue in Cakewalk. Have you reported this to the team? If so let me know your ticket number and I'll see what is going on.

Good. You're giving us enough time to update all of our computers to the latest before trying out TR6
Pick up a good Nvidia card while you're at it, speed up TONEX captures

Is there anything you can say about the arrival date of T-Racks 6?
All I can say is not soon. It isn't on the calendar in the very near future for sure, from what I am seeing.

We stated the installer would install individual processors of choice in T-RackS 6.
Glad to see the MixBox version of Sunset Sound is a good option for some.

Would be good if...they could add the MixBox Sunset module to the list.
Not a bad idea, I'll ask. Office is closed today and tomorrow but I sent along the suggestion.

Get it in the next group buy using one of the freebie reg codes they’ve given away over the last year.
Group buys have been new purchases only for a bit now, so previous and especially free codes will not work.

It seems that IK has removed offline authorization secretly!
<rant> Generally I don't put their decision into question, but absolutely I have to comment the how! It seems that in their company the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. In the FAQ and in the documentations you still find the instructions for doing offline authorization! Also the support tells you some cloudy, abstruse things about offline authorization ("What App do you want to authorize? and you know that in the first step it is not relevant. - Newer products (available for a lot of years!) cannot be offline authorized anymore. - ...). IMO you cannot trust in such a company anymore! They are not capable to organize their things! I am just glad that I did not invest in their T-Racks lately (I nearly did)!
Also looking at their strange software implementations in T-Racks and Amplitude raises hackles! You always have to install the full package even if you only own a fraction of the modules (It is not only the installer, but also the installed files: 1 T-Racks module > 2 GB)! And they tell you the whole time that the product is updated when only new modules have been added!
And looking at such companies I wonder why some people attach importance to support? It's almost useless IMO!
Regrettably another company that gets on my "not-to-buy-anymore" list!</rant>
You should be able to use Authorization Manager for this still. I haven't tried it personally in a while but Authorization Manager itself still works. If you have problems our support team can assist further with that.
3 hours ago, Bruno de Souza Lino said:The worst offenders of that are Amplitube and TONEX, the latter will happily install all the training models and other stuff along with it regardless of which version you have and that amounts to a nice 7 GB of stuff. For the free version is worse because you're forced to give 7 GB of stuff for maybe two dozen presets you can only do minor tweaks on.
And this is the annoying part of having those licensing schemes. Where are the fixes for the bugs people keep complaining about? Is their development time entirely dedicated to copy protection now? Cause I was using a plugin last time I checked and not an antivirus or other protection related stuff.
TONEX is nowhere near 7GB. "All the training models" are in a Library.db file which when installed with every stock model is a whopping... 20.5MB (I just verified with the latest version I updated just yesterday on the machine I'm typing on). AmpliTube isn't anywhere near that either. Any bug fixes can be submitted to IK Support and they alert the devs when they are actually bugs. They fix things all the time.

We did not state that MAX v2 bundles were updates to the audio engine. They are updated bundles with all of the currently available gear in them.

I'm paying $7.95 per month to Microsoft for 365, but I don't know if that fee covers additionbal computers in my same household.
How did you subsribe to the $$99/Annual for 6-licenses deal? I'm unaware of that option.

22 plugins vs 10 previously.

Hi @Peter - IK Multimedia can we confirm, are we able to pick any item listed in TRacks 5 Max as an item in bundle?
You can choose any of the T-RackS plugins available. You are making a custom bundle from any of the 53 T-RackS processors that exist. I will take a look at https://www.ikmultimedia.com/mix-your-own-bundle/ and see if that needs further clarification.

You don't need SampleTank installed, it will create the ST directory structure it needs (it is an ST3-era/based library). More information is in this FAQ: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1135
