What's happened at 0:22 ?

Did you install SONAR 8 after installing CbB? If so, shared files are overwrote by old one, I think. (VstScan.exe, etc.) I believe old "VstScan.exe" that come with SONAR 8 can not scan VST3 plugins.

You might want to do this procedure with "On Startup Load the Default Template" checkbox, too.
(Enable > Close CbB and reboot> Open CbB > Disable > Close CbB and reboot and then open CbB)

Make sure "On Startup Load the Default Template" at Advanced in the Preference is unchecked.

BTW, I have tried to go with changing Assign Instrument in the preference settings but found no difference. So I have no idea... I'm wondering why it has become default in your Cakewalk. Good luck...

It's a frozen midi track?
The notes of frozen midi tracks are displayed as numbers by default. If you unfreeze it, the keyboards come back.

Displaying the keyboard (diatonic) is default here. I don't know there is what difference...
FYI: "Use the Assigned Instrument Settings" in the right click pop-up window is checked.

@Peter - IK Multimedia Thanks for the explain. Yeah, I know Z-Tone knob is a variable impedance and how it works probably.
I just concern that to reproduction a nice setting accurately. i.g. in this case, after making a nice setting for Guitar A, set to another setting with Guitar B and then set back to the setting for Guitar A again, accurately.

"Z-TONE" looks Interesting. Seems variable analog knob. Can you quantify the settings to make a note?

"Upgrade to Windows 10" means installing Windows 10 as an upgrade to a drive where Windows 7 is installed. (As result, the debris of Windows 7 is there.) And I heard that it is necessary to install as upgrade once for the free upgrade to succeed. (Not clean install.)

Hey guys, my primary PC still running Windows 7, so I'm planning below...

• Clone only boot drive.  (C - Windows 7 / D - Sample libraries etc. / E - Projects)
• Replace C drive to a cloned drive.
• Upgrade to Windows 10.  (Should I make sure Windows license links to my Microsoft account?)
• Clean install Windows 10.

Is this a good procedure?

Oh, look I'm a newcomer compared to everyone.
I was using TASCAM 688 for a long time and then quit musicmaking temporarily. After that, I determined making music again and looked for an Audio interface has 8ch input for importing from TASCAM 688 then I found Edirol UA-101 as a result. So I bought SONAR POWER STUDIO 101 because it was good buy. Its my first SONAR.

Yeah, I read that description about an analog mode. So I'd like to know how much getting saturation and overtone caused by the subtle distortion and compression... Sorry, I can not explain well in English. Oh, I wonder can I get good results with an audio clip which lost high frequency band like old cassette tapes?

Does T-Bone add some saturation and overtone with an analog mode?

I've never seen that Access error. Seems BandLab Assistant fails to run Cakewalk. (Access permission problem?)
Have you tried to run 'Cakewalk.exe' directly? (Not via BandLab Assistant.) Getting any error?
