I forgot to mention that IMO Musio has the best bang/buck ratio currently. They're selling Musio 1 (perpetual license) for $199. You get a huge collection of high quality libraries. Strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, drums, choirs, synths, world instruments, pianos, organs... All libraries are currently less than 300 GB, and you can download what you want within the plugin. No, dragging is the only thing you can do. (The presets are stored in a .db file which can be edited in another program but it's probably simpler and faster just to drag them in TH-U.)

I kept seeing the old version of LABS with all the old libraries in my DAW because the installer didn't delete it but decided to make my DAW load the new version to check out this new library. Big mistake. The new Mac UI of the VST is horrible I don't want to see the subscription stuff. I'll just keep using the old VST with the clean UI. At least all the old libraries work. I doubt they're going to release any new really good stuff free anyway.
