I only had 3 picks and passed on the X-Drive after demoing all 4 of them. I sure wish the Amplitude FX could be used outside the Amplitude ecosystem! IMHO IK is missing out on additional sales be tying their FX (and us) exclusively to their ecosystem. I mean, it sounds pretty damn good, but I have other FX I like using too and would love to be able to combine them without having to fire up the whole Amplitude interface.

Do you mean like Melda? ? I'm freshly irritated with Waves. I just spent last evening trying to get my "old" Waves plugins to work again because for some stupid reason I thought I should install v13 of Wave Central... ?

I'm pretty sure you just have to register it if you buy it. I demod the X-Gear pedals, and when I picked them up, I just had to register and it showed I owned them. No other installation necessary.

Just curious, ss there something you don't like about them Zo? I like the free EQ and the UIs, but have never gotten around to buying them.

When I saw the title of this thread I got all excited, then I saw the price...

I've had the free edition for forever and always thought it looked interesting but never used it after the initial try because I have all other sorts of panners. But with the added features and this price, it will be hard to pass up! ?

Thanks Peter, I just asked here because I thought I might be overlooking something. I ended up just saving the individual Presets for each of the modules in the Standalone, then went to the plugin and added the each of the Modules and recalled the individual presets. Kind of a pain, but it worked. How would it be a "permissions" issue when I'm the only user/admin on my PC? It wasn't "in use" or anything either because I rebooted, etc. Anyway, I can get TS the specifics. This particular one was on MixBox Standalone -> plugin...

Oh! That's a good one! Don't know if I'll ever use it again after the IK GB and discovering Kuassa stuff last year, but it's good to have options. Thanks Lars!
