I actually DO like it. It would be cool if he let you pick which UI you wanted. I mean the old one is already done.

This. My issue with MAutoAlign is you can select the "source" instance to align everything else to. your quote is what I do. Last night I tried it on a Kick In and Kick Out mics, and Kick-sub sample that is in a mix I'm starting. When I got it to work, the Nugen plugin sounded great and definitely better than without. Same with MAutoAlign. And Nugen and MAutoAlign were very comparable and both flipped the phase on the sub-kick sample. I was leaning towards going with the Nugen plugin to give it spin, but then I tried to do another analyze just to see if it would be different and "something" went sideways and the analysis got all wonky. Probably something I did or didn't do, but in the interest of time and my waning patience, I went with my trusty MAutoAlign. Are you doing JUST your overheads or the whole kit with MAA?

Also some sales! Loc-Ness is only $23 and totally worth that. It's like DevilLoc with more features. Anyone tried Model 5000? It looks niiiiice.... ?

I tried Aligner last night on some drums and found that when analyzing three instances, I got inconsistent results. When it DID analyze properly, it worked really good. I like the no-nonsense and informative UI. I'll try it again later and see if I have the same issue or if it was something on my end (likely! ) Anyone else tried it yet?

It would be $24.36 to get a full version with the $100 coupon. I had Monofilter Elements from some previous freebie - PluginCollective I think - and I upgraded that through Nugen (Koby couldn't do an upgrade) and added StereoPlacer Elements for $18.
-
I upgraded to the full version of Monofilter4 after watching this video.
-
Nevermind, they already fixed the price... $64. ?
-
I just saw that this is only $49 $64 over on RecordingSoftware.com. Plus you get 10% back for future purchases and also $5 Credit for signing up for their Newsletter - that's a pretty good deal! This is a great plugin! https://recordingsoftware.com/product/unitedplugins-hyperspace/ --- edit --- Still, 10% isn't bad...

A different site than Slate Digital? I see I've got SSD 5.5 FREE in there too though, so thanks!

Oh! I forgot about that one, thanks! Isn't "chuffed" an Auzzie saying?

I can upgrade to MonoFilter $69 (from elements - a giveaway) and pick up StereoPlacer Elements $49 ($118 - $100) = $18! ?

I got Stereoizer last time (I think) and highly recommend it. It is really fantastic for getting that final 3D polish/widening (if you want it) on your mix bus. It's soooo good I'm excited to see how Aligner stacks up to MAutoAlign.

Up at Audio Deluxe now for $25.98... It looks like they got rid of the freebie. (?) https://www.audiodeluxe.com/products/audio-plugins/psp-fetpressor

I created and maintained a WordPress website for my kids' school organization a few years back. One of the security plugins I used was called WordFence IIRC, and it would report the number of login attempts by unknown IP addresses among other things. I spent many weekend mornings blocking specific IP's and chunks of IP addresses that were trying to access the site by logging in as an "admin" user. It was alarming. I suspect plugin devs are juicy targets since they are setup to deliver and download executable files.

I posted this site a couple of years ago when the it first started up, and I can say it's been really great. There are monthly mixes (usually two) for practice where you can post and get feedback, contests, challenges, "duels", tutorials and plenty of knowledgeable and accomplished mix engineers who are super friendly and helpful. https://audiomixclub.com/ The current contest is a Mix Audition for $300 and a mixing credit on the release for the mix that's chosen. You can read about on the top banner. I got the OK from the artist to post his rough mix on here: It's hand-down been the best mixing forum I've been a part of. Cheers!

Which freebies (and near-freebies) encouraged you to buy a paid product?
mibby replied to Starship Krupa's topic in Deals
Yes! This one and Kush's Omega TWK are my favorite grit/distortion plugins at the moment. They're both so easy to dial in and see if they'll work or not. I also picked up Nembrini's Boss Distortion when it came out, so the FREEBIE definitely put Nembrini on my radar. That, and he's the dev for most of the PA amp sims, so there's that too. His Blackice bass amp is on my list but waaaaay too $$ without a crazy deal. -
You must have been soooooo conflicted last year when CLA Epic came out last year! ?
-
Dang! I'm behind on my Audiority plugins!
