I been doing demo tracks using MODO drums + MODO Bass and AT 5. No issues Mind you , I am only using 1 or 2 instances of AT 5 and nothing fancy. Just a one amp custom preset. I am on an older Xeon CPU.

Did IKM add Resonator? I think if it's not on the list, you don't get the freebies. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/25gb/

oh well. i picked up the Slash as I started using AT5 as a effects plugin for soft synths... it has a bunch of pedal emulations that should create some interesting sound combinations. btw.. cool article on making patterns in Modo Drum.. https://www.soundonsound.com/techniques/20-tips-creating-realistic-sequenced-drum-parts

sharing a cool article on 2 mic guitar technique. AT 5 is a great tool to tinker around with experimenting with mics and placement in a cab. I started using more ribbon mics with sm57 and tweaking placement to get the sound i want and not use as much eq for guitar. https://www.soundonsound.com/techniques/two-mic-guitar-tracking re: AT 5.. I just did a cool new track with it today. it sounded pretty good to me using AT 5. yeah, it does use more CPU than my other sims.. like Guitar Rig..e.tc.. but it also does sound very good. FWIW.. I use a bunch of other sims and will switch back and forth. if its a project that uses lots of tracks and stuff.. i will just use a different sim or convert the AT 5 track to wave and be done with it. nothing to dwell on. its a great product.

Wow. Very cool

I would totally be tempted by this if I had the voucher. This fellow does some amazing tones with UVI stuff. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWVCUkIaUYfPaeFyyB_5ydg/videos

I am wondering if the MEMEs mic that IKM sell is the same one that B&H sell or whether its a newer one made for Arc 3. My issue is no SKU numbers on IK site. I have access to a suppler I deal with for servers and parts who also can get IK stuff.. but without SKU #'s .. its hard to figure out what hardware is what.
-
yes it would..

is it a MEMS Arc 3 or MEMS Arc 2.5 mic? i am temped by Arc.. now that I see how much competing products cost.

ahh.. young tele is having so much fun with Modo Drum. I am a guitar player that always secretly wanted to be a drummer. always regretted not picking up drums. this application is so much fun.. customizing the kits and heads and all.. the GUI so much fun.. i am blowing so much time customizing drums and not working on any actual music.. ?

Yeah.. AT 5 does use more resources compared to AT 4. But it does sound very good. I recently started using AT 5 for FX for synths as the pedal emulations are miles ahead of anything in NI Guitar Rig or whats built into Arturia. FWIW.. I sometimes switch back to AT4 for guitar for projects that have lots of track and fx and are resource heavy. I am still able to get the sounds I want from AT 4.

yup. thats what i keep getting. i close and relaunch and it goes away.

I enter them manually in Product Manager. Then launch Custom Shop and Restore my purchases. I found that if I don't enter them into product manager they dont shop up or authorized in the DAW in plugin mode or in stand alone mode. But the process is still a little funky. Even though I have supposedly correctly installed and authorized everything I have, every once in a while I have to re-do the process because I get a pop up saying the product I am using is not authorized. I think IKM need to do some more work on the new Product Manager.

here are people who picked up the IKM MEMS Mic from B&H. There were others that posted using dayton mics successfully.

I just dont like Slash. I hate G&R. The girl that was supposed to be my soul mate dumped me at a G&R concert. I spent the concert in the parking lot drinking hard liquor and banging the asphalt with my head. Puta! ?

i have one freebie left to pick. - arc software - niel pert drums - miroslav ce - slash which one shall it be?

has been asked many times. Tracks 5 Se, Tracks 5, Tracks Deluxe all have different components. check the gear tab. Some of the IK Own modules overlap. Also, Deluxe does not contain all of the Tracks moduels and many of the best stuff is missing from Deluxe. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/tr5se/index.php?p=gear https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/tr5/index.php?p=gear https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/tr5deluxe/index.php?p=gear , FWIW.. if you are in the $150 tier. Tracks SE has the better modules as it contains the more useful vintage emulations .

I like their stuff a lot. But I have too many drums and percussion plugins. I pass for $49
-
wow.. demos is right up my alley. i never heard of this developer.
-
for those still looking for items in the lower tiers. ny best <$99 picks have been - hugh pdgham drums - then the various AT 5 items from the MAX collection. I used the Nu-Tron 3 on a keyboard with a vintage compressor in front of it, and it sounded amazing. For non-guitar players, don't understandable the usefulness of the effects in AT5 with amp and cabs disabled.
-
and they expire too...
-
is this a decent price?
-
FWIW.. I picked p a iRigs I/O on clearance and it got me into the $199 tier. Not the best build quality, but who cares. I got so much free stuff that I really wanted from the GB.
