that is tempting. when you take into account what inflation has done to the dollar in last 24 months. RC-20 is sort of like a hipper version of MixBox.. for chill and D&B.

The XLN keys are amazing stuff. I recently spend some time working on some electric piano. XLN blows NI and Scarbee keys out of the water in sound and features. I am looking at XO and perhaps RC-20. $49 still seems a little high for RC-20. Wasn't it $35 at one point?

I have the modulation bundle. They are nice plugins, but to be honest, i dont use them enough. IMHO, the Arturia FX sound and work different than IKM. But I agree. now that I have all the IKM Tracks stuff and MixBox, and tend to use that a lot, I am on the fence on this. Are you gonna collect FX cause you use them or cause they are pretty? I find these Arturai FX to be a competitor to maybe Black Rooster?

Yeah. That is a concern. So far I bought a couple from KVR members and have been fairly lucky. I avoid the constant bumps and there are a few other very fishy posters on there. I look at posting history and also feedback if possible. This its not a very reliable method. Of the few times I have done transactions that were successful, the dude didnt post any feedback.Just disappeared.

I made a pact with myself. as long as my music sucks, i am not allowed to buy expensive plugins. once i figure out how to make better music with cheap plugins, then i will consider fabfilter. ?

I love MODO Drums. (But then again, I am a drum VI addict). I have issue that there is not upgrade path. I would not be able to use it with just 2 kits. Depending on what music you make. My most used at bubinga, jazzy, grungy, and studio. Good luck.

Its sort of targeted at hiphop I think. I wasn't able to get any good sounds out of it.
