Yes, I did. I got it to where I like it by renaming dll's. Thanks again. You guys are great!
-
As it turned out, getting rid of redundant VST2's where I allso have the VST3 was what I really needed. Less clutter. Besides, the 32 synths tend to be unstable. I have such a coverage, that if the effect does not exist in 64 bit, I don't need it. They are mostly old, and sometimes redundant, as I have both. Edit: Had both.
-
Weird how the Nomad factory bundle does not appear green in the list, but shows up as 32 bits in the Inventory tool. Thanks for that, by the way. Cakewalk is already tons slimmer. Metric tons that is. :)

Fantastic! There will be a weight reduction later today, of significant proportions! Thank you!

I want to ditch most of my 32 bit plugins. Especially those that were installed alongside a 64 bit, and there is a redundancy. (I can not tell the difference in the VST-list, as there are two identical instances) But how do I do this? Just delete the DLL's? How do I recognise the correct ones to delete? I really whish there were an interface for this kind of.. uhm maintenance..

MCU support for Komplete kontrol seems to be on its way

According to this thread in NI forums, it looks like it is finally at least planned https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/host-transport-control-doesnt-work-with-komplete-kontrol-mk2-due-to-ni-removing-mcu-support.329081/page-25 "Hi all, MCU Support for Komplete Kontrol S-Series MK2 and A-Series (including M32) keyboards is currently in development and is nearing completion. It will be available for beta testing on Centercode shortly, and will be available as part of the next Komplete Kontrol software release. Thank you for your patience in the meantime!"

Thank you for your patience, RBH I have chosen a MIDI track. I have opened the Track in the inspector. No "Track Name control" And no arpeggiator view.. Here's what I get: -

What does this even mean: "Click the Track Name control in the Track Inspector"? -

Yes. Because: "Click the desired track, bus or hardware output in the Track view or Console view" -
I saw there was an arpeggiator in the track inspector. I have never seen it. Not even as I write. I can't for the love of.. understand the description: "To show a track/bus/hardware output in the Track Inspector Do one of the following: Click the desired track, bus or hardware output in the Track view or Console view. Click the Track Name control in the Track Inspector to select any available track, bus or hardware output." I have tried.. Need halp.

DAW automation with Native Instruments NKS?
Anders Madsen replied to C. A. Hamman's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I had to take the velcro challenge to obtain "advanced functionality" with my favourite DAW: -
Aha! Its been a while since I dared testing the "New project" button, because it messed up the folder. I cannot remember seeing this announced as a change in any of the updates. As usual, I'm writing from work. Can't wait to get home to test. Nice animation! Thanks!

You can only set path in preferences. New projects from button, puts Audio folder, project file etc. in the root of this directory.
-
Gents! Is there a way to start a new project from the button/start screen, and still get the folder structure "i want"? By that I mean the same folder structure as when one start a project from "file/new project"

Cutoff button zeroed in Cakewalk/Kontakt
Anders Madsen replied to Anders Madsen's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
But, but. How does one insert a CC1 event? I mean, where do I find the event viewer/controller lane? Edit: Found it. Big thanx, gentlemen! -

NI works in very mysterious ways. -
Cutoff button zeroed in Cakewalk/Kontakt
Anders Madsen replied to Anders Madsen's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
That did the trick, scook! Thanks a lot. (I seem to remember that you have saved my day before.) -
I'm recording four chords in Kontakt/Hybrid keys. All is ok on the first playback. But when the track ends, the cutoff knob in Hybrid keys are automatically set to zero. And it remain this way on next playback, resulting in no sound. A workaround is to touch the mod wheel (Komplete kontrol A61) when starting new playback. This is not a Native instruments function, (according to NI) Does anyone know how I can get rid of this behaviour?

Problem Cakewalk and Roland OctaCapture
Anders Madsen replied to Alcar28's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I had this problem with my Octa-capure on a regular basis. Windows (Youtube in google chrome etc..) sometimes grabbed the Octa-capture and would not release it. My solution was to re-activate the on board sound card. When this "lock" occured, I clicked on the sound icon in the taskbar, and assigned the onboard card to windows. And with a tiny "click" from speakers, Cakewalk would get access to the Octa-Capture. -
Thanks, Blades! I often capture video as I record. I used to rely on the camera mic, but that would require me to enable the speakers to capture the sound into camera. -Feedback! -Now I'm using one of four headphone outputs directly into camera, and film during some of the performances. (Or mime.) This way I can syncronize movie to the exported sound from Cakewalk. I use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and syncronize sound/film, and mute the film sound track, leaving Cakewalk-export as sound source. All in all: it's quite a hassle.

Thanks, gentlemen. Here I was somewhat anxious about my accent as I am from Norway. But me forgetting about the autofocus switch on the lense seems to be my biggest bummer. :) I can live with that.

Very good observations there, random internet guy! I totally agree with you, and I have no excuses. Those thoughts have crossed my mind, but I ignored them. (Well except for the dolphins) Should not have. I simly forgot to set the camera gear in manual mode. About the guitar track. That Martin have recently started to sound very good. I have struggled to get a natural sound, but now the guitar grew on me, I kinda didn't care so much. That might have done something with the technique. Also I did use one mic only as opposed to earlier times when I was very "high end" minded. Using two mics, and what was actually restrictions in guitar positioning. One Neumann TLM 102 on guitar. Røde K2 on vocals. -No reflexion filter. In fact. It's for sale.
