  1. No scroll lock key is required https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Arranging.21.html
  2. It has always been possible to set the track interleave manually. The change that happened after X3 only affected the default track setup. Rather than default the interleave to agree with the input, interleave always defaults to stereo.
  3. This was how SONAR worked through X3. IIRC, a change was introduced early in 2015 where the interleave was no longer linked to the track input but I do not recall the rationale for the change.
  4. FabFilter recommends against using their mono plug-ins in new projects. Here is an example from the Pro-DS help
  5. Could try adding the entries into the registry. They both look the same. Here is the entry for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Shared Plugins\Perfect Space Still - may be a good time to look for a replacement plug-in. Of course, the PS IRs should load in any IR reverb that supports regular wav files. The MConvolutionEZ does.
  6. It's not too late to stop using them. The support for 32bit plug-ins is unlikely to improve.
  7. Still on Win10 1809 here. Just loaded the plug-in for the first time in years. Seems to work OK. I stopped using it when I transitioned to 64bit in 2011. I believe the path to the impulses is stored in LastImpulseFolder under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Shared Plugins\Perfect Space and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Cakewalk Music Software\Shared Plugins\Perfect Space maybe something went wrong with those entries. That said, it not too late to consider using a different IR Reverb. One that is still in production and supported by the manufacturer. Perfect Space has not been updated almost 8 years. MConvolutionEZ is part of the MFreeFXBundle, as the name indicates, the plug-ins are free.
  8. Most of Cakewalk by BandLab may be installed on any drive unless there is another Cakewalk DAW (SONAR, Music Creator...) already installed. If there is an existing Cakewalk DAW installed, CbB will install on the same drive. CbB uses around 100MB of the C drive regardless of where the program is installed.
  9. No it's not just you... But going forward for this & other reasons I'm taking Mr. Scooks advice... Of course, aux tracks like regular audio tracks lack waveform preview. The only way to see the waveform in an aux track is record to the track (just like any other regular audio track).
  10. Instead of removing/redrawing preview images, I use automation lanes with aim assist enabled. For those who insist on avoiding automation lanes, audio scaling may help move the preview image out of the way.
  11. Yes, in envelope mode No, in offset mode See http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Automation.13.html
  12. When running in ASIO mode only one input/output driver may be used at a time. This is a requirement of the ASIO specification. In this case, to change drivers deselect both input and output driver settings then select a different driver. To use more than one driver requires changing driver mode from ASIO to something else.
  13. It also occasionally goes on sale like this If you want to buy it today - shop around (or ask for the best price in the deals forum below). There is no reason to pay retail. Even when it is not on sale, it is still discounted by some resellers (ex. use code Forum at jrrshop for almost $11 off).
  14. Implementation details would be up to Noel and crew. There are large format modules with smaller buttons. Could stack 1/2 size navigation buttons (like RTZ/Go to End buttons in the transport module) to make room for full size delete or overload the add button, left click to add, right click to delete or right click the menu for delete.
  15. The ability to maintain different plug-in sorts for the different lists was removed from SONAR in 2017. I do not have all versions installed but 2017-06 allows different lists, 2017-09 does not.
  16. OK. Thanks for the feedback. The is the cumulative effect of overlaying multiple clips. A clip outline is actually semi-transparent contrasting background. Stack up enough of them and they take over the PRV.
  17. Does deselecting "Show Clip Outlines" in the PRV View menu help? "A" in the image below points the View menu.
  18. Is this a MIDI or audio issue? If MIDI Is the MIDI driver mode set the same on Platinum and CbB
  19. If you are going to re-install and are comfortable editing the registry make sure to clean up the registry as part of the uninstall. Here is a post about it Although I would not perform a re-install preemptively unless I knew the install failed. Instead I would work with Noel first.
  20. May be project specific. Consider supplying the project and the steps used to support@cakewalk.com I just tested with a new project TTS-1 added as an instrument track Copied a MIDI clip into the track Opened the Event List view Clicked on the first event in the Event List view Then stepped through with CTRL+ALT SPACEBAR Did not matter if left or right CTRL+ALT was used
  21. It does alter signal somewhat, not unlike the other cabinets bundled with the plug-in and different IRs do sound different. At least that is my experience stepping through the IRs bundled with the plug-in. But don't expect all that much. I doubt it will ever be the case that dropping a single IR into a plug-in is ever going to deliver killer tones by itself.
  22. Maybe a focus issue, try clicking in the Event List before stepping with CTRL+ALT SPACEBAR (works the same in X3 and Platinum). BTW, don't know about others but I like to see a link to the source when quoting something like the help. In this case, I found the quote in the OP here
  23. Here is the thing about most Overload products that have an IR player like TH3. The IR files must be imported into the plug-in's database before they show up. This is different than most other products that simply load IR files directly from the HD. Double-click the IR Cabinet then click the "Import New IR" button to add IRs to the TH3 IR database The process is described on page 22 of the TH3 manual.
