There is a pan control for the track. Above the tracks is a drop down set to Custom. Set that to All to see all the track controls including the pan control.

The preferences for ASIO4All look fine and although ASIO4All should work, if you are running Win10 try the WASAPI driver modes instead of ASIO. Also may want to start simple, with a single audio track project. Have you tried both channels on the interface? Can you hear the guitar when the interface is setup for direct monitoring?

It could be in the interface hardware (if is has an adjustment for direct and return signal), a software mixer supplied by the hardware manufacturer, a mix knob on the plug-in or multiple tracks set to the same input.

Acustica does not use regular IR files and there are files for different sample rates. If your DAWs run at one sample rate, the footprint may be reduced considerably.

The names of the older series were slightly different. The older linear phase plug-ins were LP64 EQ and LP64 Multiband.. They were removed from the Engineering Suite FX installer when the new LP plug-ins were introduced. IIRC, the last version of the Engineering FX Suite with the old LP series was 1.0.0.13.

Additional instrument definition files are installed with the DAW. Assuming both mics use the same interface, phantom power does not add latency. The largest contributors to latency (and the two a user has control over) are audio interface buffer settings and plug-in delay compensation. For many interfaces, the interface buffer setting may be adjusted in preferences. Others use software supplied by the interface manufacturer. A quick test to see if plug-in delay compensation is an issue is the FX button in the Mix module. When enabled, this will bypass all effects. If the delay goes away, one or more plug-ins somewhere in the project are causing the delay.

The plug-ins are not part of CbB, There were bundled with SONAR Platinum in separate installers. IIRC, the installers check for the presence of a valid SONAR Platnium install. Before installing CbB, I completely installed SONAR Platinum along with the two LP installers. The plug-ins load OK on my PC. The folders in Cakewalk Content do not contain the plug-in binaries. By default the VST2 format plug-ins are in C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\LP EQ C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\LP MB and the VST3 format plug-ins are in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" If you need to install Platinum again, make sure re-install CbB after Platinum.

Yes, it is possible. CbB always records the data at the track input. To record effects, they must be applied before the input. This may be done by routing the track containing the effects chain to another track using a patch point or aux track and recording the track with the patch point as its input or the aux track.

It is possible to created individual instrument definition files from the data in master.ins using the export function in the Define Instrument and Names dialog in preferences too. These files may be imported on other machines using the same tool. The instrument definitions in Cakewalk Content are not read by the DAW. To use them, they must be imported using the "Define Instrument and Names" dialog in preferences.
