Custom shop is mine.

The problem I have had with other capture programs (Tonocracy and NAM) is that unless I find exactly what I'm looking for, there isn't really a great way to fix it without having access to the amp or model itself. Maybe ToneX works better? In the other programs if I adjust the low, mid, or high controls the capture can get pretty funky and unnatural sounding. I'm afraid it's as endless as looking for the perfect IR but for $39 it may be worth trying.

So far this and the tape collection are the deals I’m most interested in. I’m having issues with jrr shop. They are not sending me a link to change my password. I’ve emailed support….nothing. guess I’ll try to call.

U-He - Everything (but Zebra Legacy) 50% off at various places!

I currently have Reelbus 4, Waves J37, Waves Kramer master tape, IK tape 80, Hornet Tape MK I and II. Klanghelm SDRR (not really tape). Also the tape sim in the pro channel and Harrison 32C. I think Reelbus 4 is probably the best one out of that group. Satin is tempting me. -

Satin has me tempted. I've wanted that thing for years but I already have 5 or 6 other tape sims that I rarely use. I don't need it. I don't need it. I DON'T NEED IT!!! -
I just bought it direct from Celemony. Studio 4 to Studio 5 for $29. Excellent deal.
-
I have studio 4. Is it $29 to upgrade?
-
I’m waiting for signature 1 and 2 to go on sale.

TDR make excellent stuff! I only lack Molot GE and De Edger myself, but those are the two I don’t feel like I need. I believe $19 is what I paid for Nova just a few weeks ago. The mastering plugin for $9.99 is an absolute no brainer! If you don’t have it.

Well after demoing both baby audio plugins, I think I can live without them. Both work as advertised and sound good. I just think I already have that ground covered.
-
Smooth Operator and Taip are both on my radar. I was hoping the Ezx signature would go on sale but I guess it’s too new.

Harrison FREE Mastering EQ Plugin Update Plus FREE iLok Upgrade
Clint Martin replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Too much work to get an EQ I don't need. I gave up. -
Interesting topic. I have several plugins that should be able to do this. (Mspectraldynamics, Mautodynamiceq, TDR Nova, Toneboosters EQ4, to name a few.) I haven’t actually attempted to use this technique but I wonder if baby audio smooth operator would be the budget choice at $39.99?https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/7565-Smooth-Operator?currency=USD&force_country=US&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-pyqBhDmARIsAKd9XINFWkyrlaU7tvvcHiV3JDnMWSoj08OknAAhz_gM-U0-9SrBS98PmDgaAhiQEALw_wcB

I'm going to download it this weekend and attempt to give it a solid try. I have Cakewalk, Waveform 12.5 Pro and Harrison 32C, but I hear so much about Reaper.
-
@Bapu I'm curious about Reaper. I downloaded it a couple of times but never gave it a fair try. How well do you think it stacks up against the others. It would seem like a good time to jump in if one was inclined to.

It’s a beautiful thing.

Installed. No issues. Bring on Sonar!

Great freebie from Bluelab Audio. (Noise reduction VST)
Clint Martin replied to Clint Martin's topic in Deals
I used to use that, then I switched computers and never bothered to reinstall it. I wonder if Audacity is capable of being used like that? I suppose the old Adobe is still available somewhere? I believe it was Adobe 3? Do other DAWs include a feature like this? Seems like an obvious thing to add if not. -
Free is good!
-
The syncpressor is pretty cool too!
-
I can see we’re it might be a nice tool to have. I have his LU and VU meters which I’m sure would do the same thing, but for a $1.50 I’ll try it out!
