I’m going to try using this on my next vocal and see how it goes. This was one of the new plugins in TR6 I was interested in.

I’m messing around with all the plugins that are new to me. In videos I see in the “Fame” reverb the guy select a preset and clicks on insert as an option. I don’t see this option. Should these only be used as a send?

IK make a lot of very nice stuff IMHO. I think upgrading to Arc 4 studio will be my next purchase from them. I’m still using Arc 2. Which works just fine in the daw. It won’t work with Tracks 6.

And what doesn’t come with MAX?

I got it. Now I need to figure out what’s different than what I owed before.

I could have got one year for $19.99. I passed. I will not do a subscription until it’s my last choice. shame, because I love Cakewalk and Sonar.

Reinstalling my old pro channel plugins seems to have fixed the problems with the icons not showing up. Title has been edited to reflect this success.

Thanks to Mia at Cakewalk support I have my username and new password. Now just waiting for confirmation about using the legacy command center, new command center, or downloading and installing each individually. Should be on the right track. Thanks!

I have no idea what my username or password was 8 years ago so I suppose there isn’t a way to retrieve those old pro channel modules. Anyway, I have 6 icons that show and 6 that don’t. Apparently there isn’t a fix for this either. I wonder if Sonar has these issues?

Thanks I'll see if I can get it sorted. I deleted all of my old versions from X1,X2,X3 and Platinum a few years ago. Just now kinda wishing I had a few of the tools that came with those.

Seems like this issue has been brought up before but I can't seem to find the thread. All of my pro channel modules seem to work when I select them but the icon or pic isn't showing for all of them. Visually they are fine when i insert them into the pro channel. Just checking to see if this is something I'm doing wrong or not? Also wonder if there is someway to get the concrete limiter? I bought the comp, gate and limiter years ago and would love to get those back somehow.

I’m still on Waveform 12.5 because 13 really doesn’t add anything that I would use. My upgrade cost would be 40% off of $99. If I skip a version It would cost me around $50. So I’ll probably upgrade during the Black Friday sales for that reason alone. Either way, at least it keeps working after purchasing a version.

From what I understand, it stops working.

I qualify for the $112 deal but then I would be locked until next July. They could offer a perpetual license for less when Black Friday comes around. If so I’ll be interested. Much like other daws I don’t think these latest versions offer anything better than the previous versions anyway.
