  1. Yes - a nice cover of the Steely Dan/Duke tune, and the video works well! Great work.
  2. Oh yes!! This is a great track, nie and quirky and subtle. The videos are quite inspired! Here in the UK there used to be an excellent weekly music programme - The Old Grey Whistle Test which ran late at night for a number of years. They had a phase in the early 70's of taking tracks and putting old B&W films to them - e.g. Led Zeppelin's Trampled Underfoot. Thsi is reminiscent of that, and very effective. This is a great production -thanks for posting!
  3. Good vocals and arrangement; nice clear production - great work!
  4. Wow - top notch vocals, pleanty of headroom - the vocals are firmly in control ... and profssional-grade production. This is excellent. Thanks for posting.
  5. Nice intimate sound - good song and well produced.

Nice work! A little Tom Waites??!
  9. Yes - not my normal kind of genre, but this is quite engaging. Organ - maybe a slightly too loud but not obtrusive. Good work!
  10. Yes, good - probably more like Robyn Hytchcock than Ray Davies in delivery? Nice work!
  11. Nice approach to the vocals (almost Colourblind James). Nice guitar work

Nice work - reminiscent of Pernice Brothers. The vocals are great as they are, the top end seems ok jdf
  13. Thanks for this. That's a great documentary of the history of the instrument, and a lovely virtual instrument too! Congratulations - excellent work!

    Here's Harry

Thanks Old Joad - much appreciated!
  15. I've no idea. It was an unsolicited email. They didn't say anything about the version.
  16. I just had an email inviting me to the "BFD Beta program". So it looks like they may be on the march to a new version. I'm interested, although I'm equally split between them and AD2, Native's drums in Komplete and a few other drums. I have BFD3 and quite a few BFD kits, but I find the UI quite a mess to navigate! The mail is as follows: +++++++ We're happy to announce the BFD Beta Program Are you interested in joining a community of like-minded musicians and getting early access to new features, all while helping the development of BFD? BFD3 owners have an opportunity to help BFD continually improve the software and have a TON of fun along the way. First, our Beta Testers will receive the latest (unreleased) software updates. After testing the updates, we ask that you report any issues you find on our Private Beta Forums, dedicated to all things BFD. This forum will also serve as an incredible resource for expanding your knowledge of BFD, and connect you with other BFD3 owners to share your thoughts, ideas, and feedback around the software as we improve it. The beta will bring new updates and fixes. We’re excited to show you what we’re working on! Click the link below to learn more and apply to join the Beta Testing team today! Again - another track that really suck the listener in! Well done on the vocals and the instrumental work. Good work!"
  18. Yes, wow - not normally my area of sound. But this has something quite infectious, mainly around the disjointed instrumentation and vocals. Worth a few more listens to get the vocals!
  19. Great sound! nice balance and a lead line that haunts (in a good way!) Nice work Jerry

    Here's Harry

"Here's Harry" is a set of two traditional tunes (hornpipes): "Red Haired Boy" and "The Carmarthenshire". The video gives some historical background of the tunes. "Here's Harry" is from a collection of tracks (album) called "Enrico's Diner" at https://ronnieandthecyclones.bandcamp.com/album/enricos-diner Enrico's Diner by Ronnie and The Cyclones: There's no grand concept, but there are twelve instrumental tracks of various genres: Celtic and folk rock,. surf, some country; some fast and heavy, a few quieter. Instrumentation is drums, percussion, bass (electric and upright), guitars (acoustic, electric), dobro, melodeon, fiddle, saxophones, uilleann (Irish) pipes, Irish bouzouki, lap steel, various keyboards and piano. Have fun in Enrico's Diner! Regards Jerry
