  1. Anyone know of a resource for drawbar/Leslie settings for classic rock tunes? I’m thinking Deep Purple, Allman Brothers, Yes, Traffic, Uriah Heep, etc. Here’s an interesting related site I’ve found. https://keyboardservice.com/Drawbars.asp
  2. Makes no sense, but wow. Had the same problem. When I’d reopen a project, I’d see multiple plugin windows open on my second monitor before the console view I keep there would quickly open next. Who knew? Thanks!
  3. Don’t know what you mean by “pause key.” Interface is Scarlett 4i4 as noted in my sig.
  4. Thanks. Lots of EQ going on. Mostly Waves SSL plugins. SSL mix bus compressor for glue. No limiter at this point.
  5. @JnTuneTech The entire grid is off. I think it's simply too much processing going on with the whole mix for the display rendering to stay in time.
  6. A possible workaround for sure.
  7. Hoping for a solution for the issue in the accompanying image. Granted, I have quite a few plugins going on this nearly completed mix, but the computer isn’t choking/stuttering at all. I have a fairly hefty computer i9/9900 with all SSDs. I’m wondering if I can somehow offload the video rendering aspect by some adjustment to my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, which has GPU function? Don’t know. Shooting in the dark a bit. But it’s really hard trying to tweak Superior Drummer 3 in the Grid Manager when the playhead doesn’t line up with the actual beat that’s playing.
  8. You can apparently grab Arturia Melofi (usually $99) for free by taking a 14-day Loopcloud trial (the offer ends May 31st, 2023). https://www.loopcloud.com/cloud/subscriptions/plans?a_aid=5241029371df5
  9. Assuming it’s not a startup of an opening chord like a guitar strum, keyboard chord, or other melodic element. If it’s an attempt to mimic releasing something like analog tape coming up to speed at a studio 15 ips to begin a song, it would be pretty quick in terms of reversing a slew of transients. I’m thinking ‘startup’ in terms of a song startup.
  10. What happens if you capture the audio spin down and then reverse it so that it changes direction?
  11. Izotope Vinyl could get you where you want to go. I think it’s free. It will do the spindown like a turntable. Not sure about the spin-up. https://www.izotope.com/en/products/vinyl.html
  12. Never knew you could convert manually entered keyswitches into Art. maps. Thanks!
  13. I have a bunch of native instruments the VSTi. It would be helpful to color code the PRV keys to replicate keyswitches etc. as native instruments S line of keyboards are keyed with colors. Make sense?
  14. Is this device considered a Midi hub? I’ve read that hubs should have their own power source (not USB power) to work best in this application. This one is USB powered. Not an issue? Also, this uses the 5 din connectors? Equal performance to the newer USB Midi connectors?
  15. Trying to figure out how to reverse the waveform of chord in CbB. In my case, I'd play in the piano chord where I want it, then I'd like to reverse it to use the backward swelling effect as a build into the choruses. Best way to do this? Thanks much. Edit: Solved. Guess I deserve some RTFM comments! ?
  16. @Glenn StantonI use the "junior?" version of this, Park Control from BitSum. Do you use Process Lasso? I've tried to figure out what it does beyond what Park Control does, which is optimizes so no cores ever get parked and are always available. Thanks for any insight.

    EZkeys2 !!!!!

I also typically route out of EZK to other VSTi keys. Eager to hear the new grand piano that comes included.

    EZkeys2 !!!!!

What are these instrument expansion serials mentioned? You buy and then sit on them for a future purchase?

    EZkeys2 !!!!!

I’m in. For all its ancient shortcomings, EK1 is a core to my songwriting. I play piano and have a working understanding of music theory, but I simply can’t play what I hear in my head (a man has to recognize his limitations!) EK2 is a quantum leap — which it should be after a decade(?) of development stagnation. Given EK1, I CAN’T WAIT! A bonus is a beautifully recorded grand piano as part of the package.

    EZkeys2 !!!!!

I just posed this question on the EZK forum board. I couldn’t find any official word on this?

Trying to get my jaw off the floor. YAY! I’ve been on a thread on TT Forum pleading for this that goes back 7 years. Wow.
  22. April Fools, RIGHT? Hilarious! Here’s the last graph:“UNSUB say that the new software will launch next month. Prices start at $99 a month for the basic UNSUB plan with a pro version costing around $199 per month. You need a plan for each converted third party subscription. For those who sign up annually this drops by 20%.” So… Get out of your SUB plan by, wait for it… buying UNSUB’s SUB plan! But wait, there’s more: “You need a plan for each converted third party subscription.” ??
  23. As are the 3 Sigma IRs, according to its developer; the solution is turning up the IR loader’s output, he says
  24. OMG! Are you kidding me?? FINALLY??? Trying to manage my hope. EDIT: Doh! Just realized it could all be a cruel April Fools joke! ?
  25. Yes… 3 Sigma is one of the more comprehensive acoustic IR developers I’ve come across. There don’t seem to be many out there focusing on acoustic guitar. Here’s another resource. https://worshiptutorials.com/product/acoustic-ir-sample-pack/. These are free versions from their paid packs. As has been mentioned in this thread, a big key is finding IRs that will match up well with your guitar’s type of pick up. These two suppliers offer a selection of pick up types to choose from.
