Hi Rain hope you get better soon. whilst not strictly a music film, I watched Factory Girl last night - about Eddie Sedgwick, Bob Dylan, Velvet Underground etc. Not a bad film although no where near enough Velvet Underground music!! the who - an enigma for me - some absolutely great music, then something absolutely BS like Boris the Spider......its either hate or love for me when it comes to the WHO, nothing in-between!! another good film as opposed to a documentary, is Control, about Joy Division - i watched that quite a few years ago, but remembered enjoying it. a favorite live show documentary is Queen at Wembley, 1986 - Freddie at his very best Nigel

PA Flash Sale: Noveltech Character & Vocal Enhancer each $14.99

I have had both of these and used them extensively for many years with my old (and non defunct) Powercore system - i was so pleased to see them on offer I purchased both straight away - and they interchange with old projects with the Powercore version in them seamlessly! Result. as Bit says though, always use carefully - less is more sort of thing Nigel -

Same as James here - I have had V1 for a long time and use it all the time - my go to effect I would say I didn't like the look of V2so stuck with V1 Nigel

Hi Allan thanks for those great comments, I really appreciate them Cheers Nigel

like this - great vocals and good track just to clarify, I hate Spotify and if I didn't have to use them I never would, ever again!! i think last time i ever bothered to check, we were getting 0.0004 cents per stream - so a thousand streams is worth, yes 4 cents - or perhaps even less. Nigel

Nice stuff Jack - really like the start - echo what Wookie said re the timing - just jars a bit Mix is excellent Cool Nigel

Hi Douglas - good solid track - the drums sound really good and has reminded me not to forget AD2 cool Nigel

Hi David I eagerly clicked on this thinking you'd done a cover of the Velvet Underground track, but no, something equally as appealing and all your own !! I really enjoyed it, could have been a bit longer but still enjoyed it Thanks Nigel

Bjorn - Beautiful track - and I enjoyed the video - I always think video's for instrumentals are the most difficult - i just finished one yesterday for an instrumental track I found when going back through the archives!! you probably noticed I don't do too many instrumentals!!!! Cool stuff, very much enjoyed this Nigel

like this Jesse - almost Cageist Cool Nigel

Hi Kevin - just listed to Space is Deep - good track and enjoyed it. And I saw your comments re Hawkwind - i must have seen them live about 20 / 30 times - always great gigs, if a little hazy if you know what I mean - even lost my car at one of them as I couldn't remember where I had left it? And of course there was always Stacia - if you saw them live, I'm sure you know what I mean!!!!!! its strange when we go back and listen to old tracks - I've just done the same thing and there were a few that I had never really considered good enough to promote, that were actually not too bad - I have just finished yesterday a video for one! Mind you the mix is the worse thing about that specific track, but I don't think i have enough of the project to go back and remix, so it is, as it is!! Cheers Nigel

James i used to have a set up much the same as this - it was many years ago so i suspect things must have improved quite a bit tracking wise. the issues I had were that whilst the tracking wasn't the best, you could always tidy that up later via the piano roll if you were recording - live play, well probably no, unless what you were trying to play was very basic. Also you had to pick very cleanly to avoid ghost / wrong notes; shredding didn't work very well? the biggest issue for me was that you play the guitar and keyboards very differently and what I was playing on the guitar did not translate well for me to keyboard. so eventually i sort of gave up with that idea and tried to improve my keyboard playing. i really think, that as Zargg says, you can get them to work - it depends quite a bit on what you want it to do. hope all goes well Nigel
